I decided to check out Code Geass. Starting to see some of the appeal, but I'm not in R2 yet.

I came here to talk about Dragon Ball Super too. I liked it, it felt pretty nostalgic. I'm still skeptical about a DB reboot but it actually felt like DB, you know? Plus I always kinda liked the stupid slice of life episodes, my introduction to the series was the Great Saiyaman saga.

What's wrong with it? I stopped watching around episode 5. I upsets me because I used to be the biggest sailor moon fan and I just don't care anymore.

The sloppy animation, cringeworthy CGI transformations, disgusting lack of character development/diversity amongst the inner's personalities, the unhealthy portrayal of Mamoru and Usagi's relationship, senshi x shitennou being forced into the Dark Kingdom arc... The list goes on, especially if you never cared for the manga in the first place.

^No joke, some of the Blu-ray "corrections" are even worse than the original shit quality. Crystal is just one huge mess.

Pretty much the same, as I know dragon ball and z have many many problems but I just can't help but get hype by new dragon ball, and so far the only thing I kind iffy on about super is the fact the first 2 arcs are just different retelling of Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F, I mean battle of gods I like but I don't really need a longer tv version of it.

Jesus, I am not at all a sailor moon fan but from little I know of both shows I feel I can safely say Crystal seem just god awful.
 
Been going through part 5 of JoJo(or GioGio, I guess). I'll save my final verdict for later, of course, but right now it's all right. Not as good as parts 3 and 4, but maybe in between parts 1 and 2?

It's like they didn't care.

I mean good god, I thought the point of Blu-Ray releases were to fix the series, not make it worse.

And you wanna know the sad part? Toei's given a two week break between episodes. You'd think this would mean better quality as well, right? Nope.

What makes it even more sad is that Crystal does have a few beautiful moments like this

There have been rumors going around that Crystal may not cover the entire manga, and several of us (myself included) would be grateful for that.

Out of being really bored I decide to watch world trigger (Or I like to call it World Trigger Warning./World Trigged) despite hearing it not being all that good, and at episode 20 it nothing special but it enjoy and far from being awful, and so far the story and animation seem to be improving quite a bit.
 
So just started watching Prison School (no thoughts yet on the episode itself, mind you). And my first thought of the entire series was "Wait, why is Todd in The Shadows in this thing?"

I am partially aware that this was based on a manga and all. But still, it's not hard to think otherwise.
 
I'm trying to watch the first episode of DB Super. I really, really miss the TFS voice actors right now. The Japanese ones all sound so annoying to me.
