So they're going to preview the English dub of JoJo at Anime Expo by showing episodes 3 and 10. Naokatsu Tsuda, the director of the anime, is going to appear along with young Joseph's confirmed VA, Ben Diskin.

If you don't know the name, he played Numbuh 1 and 2 in Codename: Kids Next Door and Kaneo Takarada in Kill la Kill's dub. The guy has a pretty wide voice range and can do a pretty good English accent, so I'm excited to hear how he sounds

Finished FLCL for the 2nd time, and wow, it gets 10 times better. Shot up from a 7/10 to a perfect 10 for me.

Also does anyone else follow Sushio(character designer for Kill la Kill, and key animator for TTGL, and the Evangelion films) on Twitter? It consists of 10% of sketches, and 90% of pictures of his Mako figma. Example:

He appears to be in a Baby's R US, and I'm not gonna question it.

On the penultimate volume of Stardust Crusaders. Why dud Avdol have to die in such a manner as he did. They just offed him like cannon fodder. He was one of my favorite characters but...fucking Frenchie.

Also have to say, I like Old Joseph a lot better than his younger part. Kinda funny how everyone around him was the straight man in part II but now he's more the role.

I read that Avdol was actually supposed stay dead after Hol Horse and J. Geil kill him and Hol Horse was to replace him later on (my best guess is around the Justice arc). Fan reception made Araki retcon it and keep Hol Horse a villain. I'd be lying if I didn't say that I'm really interested in seeing how that would've played out. At least the very least, his death at the hands of Vanilla Ice was more fulfilling than a head shot from the 2nd least threatening villain in part 3.

It such a shame, as cool as Avdol is, I consider him the most boring member of Joestar's group. He's more or less supposed to be a mentor, but I think Joseph pulls that off better while being much more fun. He's really just there to stop Polnareff from doing stupid stuff. He doesn't even have that much of a backstory besides: he's a fortuneteller, he's friends with Joseph, shat his pants when he met DIO

also polnareff master race nigga

Finished Part III. Holy shit that was epic. Sorry.

Now I have to delete it off my tablet and put Part IV on.

...Welp, I guess that's it then. No Part 4 adaptation.

I think I'm gonna cry.
They've already made hints that they're going to make a part 4 adaptation, even if there was no teaser (which was pretty disappointing). david production visited Sendai, Morioh's inspiration. Plus they hinted at later parts already with things like Jotaro reading a magazine on marine animals, the Stand Arrow being in Dio's room, a book titled "Golden Wind", etc. Also Josuke and Kira are Araki's 1st and 2nd favorite JoJo characters respectively. An adaptation's gonna happen, the question is just when.

I was just really hoping for a teaser because then there'd be something worthwhile about this episode. But hey, at least there was actually some budget for once.

I was surprised they didn't make a teaser. It would have been an easy one involving baby Josuke and a snowstorm.

So I watched some of the new Jojo today. It's really good. Very over the top and also kinda funny.

I don't know how legit the info is but supposedly david production said they'll make a part 4 adaptation depending on how well the blu-ray sales of Stardust Crusaders are. If it helps, they are selling great.

So, with all this speculation of part 4 not getting an adaptation, and Viz not licensing it, I decided to find some good scans(took a little longer than you'd think since almost every site had the 'Duwang' scans). Thank god I did. Part 4 is amazing so far.

She would've been around 100 years old by then. If she wasn't dead yet, she would keel over soon.

Hamon slows down the aging process.
This is why Joseph could be still bad ass at age 69.

Doesn't make him immortal though. Joseph was 79 in part 4, and it's plain to see that he's definitely not in the same shape he was in part 3.

Yeah. I blew through volumes 2-7 yesterday and had a blast. It's reminds me of Ranma 1/2 in places, only Jojoesque. And really, what more can you ask for?

Finished part 4, and I liked it a lot. Onto part 5, and it's good so far. Not as good as part 4, but the fight scenes are pretty enjoyable.
