Titled the “Code Geass New Project Presentation, the stream will go down at 8:00pm Japan Time. There’s not much else to go on at the moment, so we’ll just have to stay tuned on December 5 to see what the folks behind the franchise have to announce.

New Code Geass?

I still have yet to watch it, even though I know about the legacy it has left on the Internet.

its kind of insane how in 2020 I still have yet to watch Code Geass even when I saw it get spammed so much on /a/. oh well, I’ll get to watching it sooner or later.

While the Jujutsu Kaisen adaption had been alright so far, they keep overdoing the fights. What makes the fights good is how tight-knit they are. They keep making people explode through buildings for some reason. Just because its Shonen Jump doesn't mean everything has to be Naruto levels.

The TV series is pretty good. I never watched the movie trilogy nor the latest fourth movie and I have strong feelings over the changes from the TV show (although it's an alt timeline apparently). I still look forward to the announcement. 🙂

next kakegurui twin volume delayed until december. it was getting good too. I'm surprised that there aren't scanlations of it. i thought it was popular.

I haven't watched that last Code Geass movie but I remember thinking about how unnecessary it was and how it ruins the show's ending.

GBF Code Geass is canon ending change my mind
The canon ending is the canon ending. No need for movies or bonus extras. The Zero Requiem is a fitting ending to the series. Anything more is fanboy nonsense.

Currently watching Lupin the III: Part I and I did not expect the first couple of episodes to be kinda dark (started with Part II first a few months back).

One thing that pissed me off about the latest movie was that CC’s character was partially ruined. In the series, she was sad but content with the Zero Requiem. In the movie, she couldn’t deal with Lelouch being gone so she revived him out of her own selfish desires.

I remember Kallen becoming a mess too. They really just went and ruined everyone

Watched Neon Genesis Evangellion and the movie over the past two days.

I can't help but wonder how it must feel to create something with a specific message only for the entire industry you created it for doing the exact opposite as a response.

yeah when you see the early show and read the comics you get a better idea about why people might take issue with Cagliostro's Nicest Lupin Ever

I'm kind of hoping that the upcoming 3.0+1.0 is Anno doing something similar to EoE and just telling everyone to go fuck themselves. I don't really know if he even cares that much about eva anymore, probably more excited about directing Shin Ultraman since I think that's been a dream for him given his very blatant love for the series and he can't start working on that till the last eva movie is wrapped.

I think there's a lot of creators that have to deal with people not getting their specific message, honestly it's almost impressive sometimes how often people just miss the point of a story. Eva is one of those series that people read far too deep into while missing the points that Anno actually wanted to make. I've seen so many people analyzing the deep religious meaning behind eva yet not getting that it was just put in the show because it was a cool foreign thing for Japanese and not much actual thought was put into it.
