Skimmed through this because the guy's voice is dumb. A lot of people dislike mainstream anime because most of it is objectively shit. Naruto past Pain is awful, Death Note after L just drops off massively, Dragon Ball Z is a smorgasbord of bad writing, Fairy Tail is Kodansha's poorly-worded response to One Piece, and lord knows how all over the place Bleach is.
Everything wrong with Death Note after L is summed up in the second opening.

So I just watched the first episode of "Usagi Drop".

Seems pretty good so far. I kinda like the water painting-esque style and the premise seems pretty interesting.

I couldn't help but be reminded of a certain someone when they talked about how Rin, who's father was seventy nine before he died, has delayed speech. :P

I completely forgot about the second half of Death Note. I remember the one thing I did like was how over the top Mikami is. Other then that, Near and Mello didn't have much of a impression to me.

I thought Mello was okay, mainly I liked how he used more illegal methods in trying to catch Kira, like getting help from the Mafia, holding an SPK agent hostage, etc.. Near, on the other hand, was just a second, much less interesting L.

Today's episode was a fucking gold mine of Dio avatars

Since I finished part 2 in manga form, I'm going to jump ahead and watch part 3. I'm still going to read part 3 (at work, when I have the time) but I really want to watch Stardust Crusaders.

If you ask me, I think part 7 is the part that really shines in terms of art. It was at that point JoJo got moved to a bi-monthly schedule, and it really shows.

Araki's fabulous, metro sexual-like art style today is such a huge contrast to parts 1-3 when he emulated Fist of the North Star's art. I do hate seeing older characters in his newer style. The only character I honestly think still looks okay in it is Jotaro.

So I just finished up Usagi Drop.

It was short, but it was nice and heart felt. It kinda made me wish for more and made me wonder where things would go from there.

And then I read about what happens in the manga.

Please don't open if you enjoyed the anime.
