I've read the Golden Age Arc numerous times by now, great every time, but I can never seem to get very far past it for some reason.
Same, the golden age arc is such a good self contained story that is hard to move forward as the next volumes seem boring in comparison. I have been meaning to finally catch up with Berserk but been putting it off since forever, i am currently stuck in the conviction arc.

I recently finished watching Inuyashiki and I highly recommend you do the same. I can't think of any anime that hit me so much in the feels since Devilman Crybaby. That final episode man...

I understand that the CG can make things a bit awkward, but it's a sad fact of life in modern anime we have to deal with. But in a similar vein to Dorohedoro it compensates the CG by being really good.

I completely forgot about that show somehow, it was pretty bloody good.

But not as good as Ping Pong The Animation.

So now there's a romcom manga about social distancing, but once again, the title:

Just when they're finally going out, they cannot even touch one another until the intimate contact ban is lifted! This is a social distance rom-com about a girl who's suppressing her desire to be all over her boyfriend!!

Maybe it's been mentioned here already, but Girls Und Panzer is the only anime I've ever finished. It's a treat for weapon autists like me; such a stupid, absurd premise, yet it's so charming.

Does anyone know where to find Das Finale, preferably with an English dub?

Should be on KissAnime.ru

Love your review of it by the way. Short, sweet and to the point. I dare say it sounds like professional review.

As much impact as the The Golden Age arc's ending has I always felt like it was a bit lessened because we knew already how Guts turns out via the Black Swordsman arc, although somehow Miura always makes me forget that monsters exists so when Zodd or Wyald shows up I go "oh... yeah apostles exist".

What I like about the Clangviction arc is that it starts with a clean slate and you don't know what happens next, the problem what people have with it is I think that it takes a lot of time to form the traveling group Guts has and the Mothloli arc has zero story progression as it focuses solely on character development. Not to mention we have to accept the loss of my man Judeau.

ak subs did a fan sub.

no dubs atm.

I also like that aside from brief fanservice scenes, it's mostly innocent and wholesome. Is there a weebspeak term for non-sexual cuteness, like that of a puppy?

Best girls in order are Kay, Hana, Miho, and Darjeeling.

Yeah, I need to rewatch it sometime. I saw it what seems to be a lifetime ago and all I really remember is that they live on an aircraft carrier or something and have a school tank team as if it's a sport... I think? I remember it being real cute and wholesome.

the cute thing is called mao. show definitely has a lot. gup made me realize there arent a lot of good historical tank simulators out there.

also st gloriana's is the best girls.

I've come to really enjoy series that deal with a post-apocalypse setting, a bunch of series that I grew to really like have it and some even take a cozy approach to showing a dead world (Like Girls last tour). There's a bunch of great series that deal with humanity after an apocalypse and I always enjoy finding more to watch.

Hell, even Sunday without God despite listening to the ending still getting me because of that fucking third episode ending. Remember live watching it with /a/ and man did that break a bunch of people, show liked punching you in the gut.

No idea about streaming but if you torrent nyaa.si has it, looks to be sub only however. Just look up Girls und Panzer and the AK-submarines v2 release should be one of the top results.

I have a question. I read some of Inuyasha but I saw the anime and some of the Ranma one.

Maison Ikkoku is getting a brand new 10 volume rerelease. I never read or saw the anime (Hey Discotek....tick tick bitch) is it fun? It looks cute.

I'm still in the middle of watching it, but I like it. It's the most down-to-earth of Rumiko's works, and the slowburn romance has actual progression. My favorite character is a bit hard to pick because they're all fun, but Akemi is a bit in the lead.

I agree the anime should get a rerelease. The DVD boxsets have just gotten harder and harder to get (separately), that I've given up ever getting the second half of the series in any physical format.

I've had the series downloaded for the longest time because it was highly recommended but have yet to get around to it, one of the problems of a large backlog. Probably if you enjoyed her other works it's at least worth checking out.
animetosho is a great indexer with nzbs if you're into that
I mainly do most of my torrent downloading through Taiga, rarely actually venture to sites unless I'm looking for music or toku.

I'm watching it now. There's a bit where one character observes that tanks shooting at one another sounds, well, dangerous for a school activity; she is assured that while they do use live ammunition, they are very careful.

It's great.
I love how they can drive tanks like cars, get in rollover crashes with no seat belts, and somehow never have a single injury.

And that they can afford to be on massive city-ships, tank maintenance, fuel, and ammunition. Though to be fair, I think it's implied the families and schools of girls that do Sensha-Do are obscenely rich (look at the Nishizumi house, for example).

the ovas and comics imply that oorai is pretty middle class with the students doing maintence and budget concerns for fuel and ammo; in the cartoon, america is the wealthiest and has a pro team of mechanics and logistics.

italy is piss poor and has trouble practicing because of fuel and ammo shortages. imperial japan is pretty spartan as well.

and if you go into extended universe, burma is super piss poor.

e: it sucks the english release couldnt get the license for the song katyusha.
