The fact people out there are saying a Yuasa show fucking sucks makes me cackle with slight vindication on the inside. Dude can only do so much with his directing skills and only has really one style, I realized this with Night Is Short, Walk on Girl, and Lu Over the Wall is like his most overlooked work next to Kick-Heart and I don't blame anyone for doing so. He's not the animation god people constantly make him out to be.
To be fair, Yuasa was less involved with this project, with Pyeon-Gang Ho making what is essentially her directorial debut having a more hands on role. Makes sense when you think about the fact that Eizouken just ended a couple months ago and he already has another fucking movie in production set to come out next year.

He was involved with a good portion of it. Granted, it's for storyboard so if the animators fucked up, that's on them for not following the storyboard, but he had it laid out.

But then you look into Toshio Yoshitaka:

If you recognize any of those DBS episodes and know of their quality, and if they're actually shitty episodes (probably not, but I'm not the best judge for DBS), then you'll know who to blame.

The weebs putting the blame on their god Yuasa still makes me steeple my fingers to hide my smirking, though.

Is that this season's TV hentai short? That invisible dick, yo.
Yeah, the english version is hosted on the same site as all those other porn shorts.

I ended up reading ahead of the show somewhat and the brown guy is huge enough that when they actually have sex they can only fit in less than half of the dick. I'm praying for that bottom's asshole.

In your defense much of the criticism I've heard is that the story (as in this specific iteration) itself is pretty bad, and the clips I've seen haven't really refuted that. It looks pretty bad, people are describing it as "The Room of anime."

I do wonder if it really is that bad, since if it is then I might actually check it out as a joke.

I don't think it's quite on that level. For what it's worth, the first couple episodes or so were pretty good, but by episode 4 the show really starts to nose dive. A lot seems to have been changed from the source material too. From what I understand, the original novel and film focused on a team of scientists and bureaucrats figuring out how to handle the crisis of Japan sinking, rather than zeroing in on how one specific family manages to survive through it.

Well, I just caught up on like 20+ chapters of ChainsawMan, and I gotta say, dousing yourself in gasoline and setting yourself on fire to fight someone who’s power is darkness may be the most badass stupid thing thing I’ve ever seen.

Also fuck Makima.

I admit, I'm enjoying Misfit of Demon King Academy as a guilty pleasure just from how sheerly unapologetic it is. "Yeah, we don't care. Here's the protagonist picking up a castle and throwing it."

Monster Girl Doctor is the most fan service that fanservice that ever fanserviced.

Peter Grill is actually pretty hilarious.

But there's not really that much serious stuff.

Chainsaw Man needs an anime adaption.

I’ve heard it’s getting one, but they’re waiting for the manga to wrap up, since it’s pretty clearly gonna be a fairly short run. Based on the latest chapter, I give it like three more arcs or so.

With so many of their successful series ending right now, (Haikyuu, Demon Slayer, Yuuna, Promised Neverland, Bokuben) would it really be smart to let Chainsawman go? Idk, it feels weird.

Stretching a manga out longer than the story is planned typically never works out well.

In regards to Chainsaw Man the Gun Devil showing up and just insta-genociding everything in a 500-mile radius with pages just being the names of all the deceased the past 2 chapters is absolute kino. It's also worth noting that during his second attack there were some months spared from his birthday massacre and I'm curious as to whether we'll ever find the reason for that out (probably not but one can hope)

I wonder what anime will look like under China’s surveillance/influence
I recall some anon in the "itt: write an anime plot" threads used to pitch a series heavily influenced by Hong Kong action flicks for a while a few years ago, (he had a title for it but I can't remember it right now).
Wouldn't mind a few traditional martial art anime that stay somewhat grounded actually.

I just started getting into My Hero Academia. It was a bit slow at first but it's pretty good.

I know there’s a lot of anime that I haven’t watched that I need to catch up, but I’m kind of excited to watch Steins;Gate. I just happened to find out that they’re making a live-action movie of it, so maybe it was perfect timing.

So basically anime versions of this?

Here's the best order:

> Watch episode 1 to 24 ( Don’t watch EP 23B right now )

> Then watch Steins;Gate: Egoistic Poriomania (OVA/Episode 25)

>Watch the movie Steins;Gate Movie: Load Region of Déjà vu

>After finishing Season 1 in the above order, watch Episode 23B (aka Episode 23 Beta), in which story diverts to give rise to Season 2

>Steins;Gate 0 (Season 2)

Here's the best order to watch it:
Steins;Gate (2011) > Steins;Gate: Egoistic Poriomania > Steins;Gate: Load Region of Deja Vu > Steins;Gate Episode 23b > Steins;Gate 0 > Robotics;Notes

If you don’t mind reading Visual Novels; the best order is:
ChäoS;HEAd (VN) > Steins;Gate (VN) > Robotics;Notes (Anime) > ChäoS;Child (VN) > Steins;Gate 0 (VN).

I won’t recommend watching the ChäoS;HEAd and ChäoS;Child anime series as they don’t adapt their Visual Novels properly.

Just play the game. It even has decent visuals unlike when they cry and Fate.
