Baccano is great, don't forget to watch the specials afterwards too.I saw Black Lagoon and Roberta's Blood Trail two years ago. Both amazing series.
I purchased the Baccano DVD because it looked a little like BL meets Bebop and the clerk looked envious. I didn't ask why but I thought it was strange. I googled and low and behold it's been out of print for a very long time (#fuckyouaniplex) so I totally understand his reaction now.![]()
In my experience, that only happens if the shit you’re watching has subtitles google-translated from Chinese which itself was google-translated from the show’s native language.I tried to watch anime once and the FBI kicked down my door and killed me
Watch The End of Evangelion with no context, then swear off anime for the rest of your life.
cowboy bebob is trash, after the first establishing episodes the same thing happens over and over and over againJust for some history, I’d start with Cowboy Bebop, then go on to either Akira or Evangelion. That should give you some grounding in the classics that even non-weebs find enjoyable.
After those, I would recommend that you go with romance, if that’s your style. Oreimo, Monster Musume, and Boku no Pico are great places to start if you like love stories.
Now, some people don’t like romance that much, and that’s up to taste. So, if you like the dramatic side of things, start with Bible Black then go on to the rest of that series. It’s a classic for a reason.
But if you just want some irreverent comedy, go check out Ero Manga Sensei or something like that.
There you go, that’s all you need to know for as to never want to watch anime again.
