If RT and Funi are staring to replace Vic's characters, I wonder if Viz is going to do the same and recast Rohan for the rest of Diamond is Unbreakable's dub.
 
I just found out that there's a Food Wars spinoff series of light novels focusing on the Aldini brothers. I really want to check it out.

I'm honestly not sure what the heck is going on with Vic, seems people are claiming the Anime Outsiders guys are just being blindly anti-sjw (since the sexual harassment thing is SJW bullshit much of the time) in the face of evidence, and people claiming he actually didn't do anything and it was bullshit.

It sounds like he just got a bit too close to some convention attendees to me, but I'm not sure.
 
Honestly, the only "evidence" I can think of that could point to Vic being a creep outside of his interactions with his fan-girls is that I don't think he has ever married. Seems like he's had girlfriends, long-time or otherwise, but I don't recall ever hearing he's married. Sometimes that's a red flag, but maybe he's just unlucky or has a poor sense of judgment when it comes to women, or whatever it is. But that's just as nitpicky as him being a preachy Christian.

They might be close to finishing up with the recordings, so it'd be better for Viz to just keep him on-board for the time being and make their decision once they're done with the dub.

God I hope so. I love the idea of ANN because there's a lot of legitimate articles of various releases and information about the anime industry that's otherwise locked behind a language barrier, but ANN does shit like filtering the word SJW as 'slur'. All their opinion pieces/reviews are terrible too. I wish it was strictly anime news because a political bias is pretty unnecessary to talk about the release date of a Japanese cartoon.

Goddamn it, though, how could standards change within ten years like that? The worst you had to deal with at anime cons literally ten years ago was a land whale dressed as some CLAMP character glomping you flat.

Please don't turn out like that Berserk Anime, if they keep the CGI to a minimum, it'll be amazing. The scene where Thorkell slices that mast or shots of the boats and water is fine with me in terms of CGI. As long as people are still mostly handdrawn.
I especially like how they did the mail armor, looks pretty neat.
