Anyone ever watch Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C³-bu? It has its weak points, and the reviews aren't great, but I liked it.

You're asking Code Geass to make sense; I don't think that's possible.I seriously hope they fill the plot holes that not even Akito could fill, like two seasons and shitload of games and they dont even know what the hell is the cult of the geass (not even bampresto know but people theorize that we are going to know a little in T)
Just watch the original dub, it's absolutely stellar.
Edit: Oh god, what if Netflix uses a different intro song.

Isn't G-Reco getting new movies that are supposed to be somewhat of an attempt to make it make sense, as well?they repeated that crap in Reconguista and that is why that one is so divisive, in one hand you have a side that claims to be a breath of fresh air to the franchise and one of the better Gundam series that have been released recently (people hate Tekketsu because Okada can't Gundam for shit) and in the other side you have people that claim that Tomino must retire because Reconguista is a mess, im in the "at least is not SeeD,AGE or Tekketsu"

I don't know if there's a better thread to discuss this in, or if a separate thread should even be made. Either way, I'm gonna be talking about:
There's been a handful of new series with lots of "Gals" as the female leads, including Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san, Gal Gohan, and Yancha Gal no Anjo-san. Most of them involve a weak-willed MC that gets teased by the female lead, which makes them incredibly appealing in terms of their personalities. Now, Gal☆Cleaning was another
one of these series, but a major distinction was how the protagonist was a very resourceful guy when it came to cleaning the house and doing chores. Say what you will that he sounds like a beta male faggot, but it was nice to see him bring up simple home-remedies that felt educational.

So, what exactly is the issue? Well, after chapter 8, the author for whatever reason made some sort of "bonus side chapters," which were listed as Chapters 8.5, 8.6, 8.7, etc. When it got to 8.9, the author stretched it out even further, with 8.91, 8.92, etc. As for the chapters' contents, all it was starting out was a cliché episode of the girl forgetting to wear panties at school, and the protagonist having to help cover for her. After they almost get caught by the student council president, THIS IS WHERE IT ALL STARTS TO GO OFF THE RAILS.
![]()
Chapter 8.94 is a flashback where the student council president remembers how she first met the protagonist. It starts out with some delinquent boys cornering the president, and proceeding to sexually assault her. The chapter ends on a cliffhanger, to which we expect the following chapter to have the protagonist come help and save her.
NOPE! Next chapter is a long drawn out scene of the president getting sexually assaulted and beaten, and the delinquents getting ready to full-on rape her. The chapter ends with "CUMMING UP NEXT TIME... IS THE CLIMAX!"

Since the series was very light-hearted and silly up until this point, a lot of readers like myself are absolutely dumbfounded by the author. It wasn't an amazing series mind you, but never before have I seen a series become so degenerate in an instant.
I just read it.
"Someone... Please... MAKE MY BODY CLEAN AGAIN!"
Jesus fucking christ. I can only conclude the mangaka has gone absolutely insane. I now want to see where this goes out of morbid curiosity.
HOLYSHIT THIS SERIES.

Never before have I wanted to punch an author so badly over something so exceptional.
Some more details about the Netflix live action series of Cowboy Bebop. https://splashreport.com/cowboy-bebop-story-details/
Well the people who wrote this adaptation are clearly confusing Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star. This scene also showcases some cool new gadgets that weren’t shown in the anime, including a gun that shoots black holes. Yup, black holes.
Ugghhh not the worst idea if you simply MUST throw a black person in there but I'd rather you didn't.Okay, I am going to say something that I know a lot of you are going to be angry at, but just put your pitchforks down for a sec and listen. Jet Black in this show is black. Yes, I know he isn’t in the anime (although, Billingslea is African-American so…) But what matters most here is that they have nailed his PERSONALITY. Jet feels like Jet.
Sounds like a cluster fuck, actually. Vicious got little screen time in Cowboy Bebop for a reason. The main differences between this pilot and the anime episode are that Yost has tried to weave in and introduce both Vicious and Faye Valentine into the narrative to mixed results [...]
Vicious, if you don’t know, is Spike’s mortal enemy. He is the Vader to Spike’s Luke; the Joker to his Batman; the… well, you get the point. Anyway, he is introduced to the plot through the Red Dragon Syndicate, a criminal organization run by Mao Yenrai. They aren’t interested in Katerina necessarily, but what Asimov has in his possession instead. Asimov is lugging around a case of a new drug, military grade, called Red-Eye. If you’ve seen the anime episode, you know where this is going. But mainly it’s a spray that makes someone’s reflexes inhumanly fast and increases their strength significantly. It’s an excellent way of tying the syndicate to the plot, however…
My main issue with how Vicious is brought in is that I feel like it is much too early. Vicious is meant to be the endgame for Spike’s arc. For a large portion of the anime, we only see glimpses of each character’s past until later episodes. In this pilot, a lot of the mystery is given the spotlight straight away, and that takes away some of the enigmas of slowly figuring out what broke these people in the past. You lose a lot of the subtlety the way Netflix is making this.

She'll be a big black woman. Think Leslie Jones. Thankfully this will never happen because of all the early Adult Swim/Toonami shonen anime only Tenchi Muyo is more unattractive to normies. We'll see even Yu Yu Hakusho live action before either of them.Ugh if they ever try to adapt Outlaw Star I fear they might make Aisha Middle Eastern since her name is the same name of Muhammad’s...you know
FTFYi have gotten really really used to reading right to left thanks to dirty filthy illegal hentai. so much so that whenever i read an american comic, i cant figure out why it doesnt make sense until i read it left to right.

Senran Kagura Producer: 'We've Stopped Putting in Sexual Content with No Narrative Reason'

Takaki mentions increased international scrutiny due to Tokyo 2020 Olympics
Senran Kagura series producer Kenichirō Takaki was featured in an interview with pop culture website Akiba-Souken on Saturday. He shared his thoughts on the sexual depictions in the currently airing Senran Kagura Shinovi Master TV anime series, which he has been writing scripts for.![]()
Takaki said that across all the Senran Kagura media, the teams have "stopped putting in sexual content with no narrative reason." Whenever something sexual happens in Senran Kagura, there needs to be a narrative explanation for it. Characters should no longer just strip or look up each other's skirts "for some vague reason."
Takaki further stated that he wants the stories to properly convey character growth and have serious elements that co-exist with humorous elements. The anime has a heavy focus on action for this reason. However, he also admitted that sometimes the logic behind the fanservice scenes can't be fully explained and viewers should take it in stride.
Takaki also mentioned that, because of increasing international scrutiny due to the upcoming Tokyo Olympics, it has been getting harder to push the envelope with sexual content in both the games and anime. Games website Siliconera translated a small excerpt of the interview as follows: "Lately, regulations regarding sexual depictions have become more strict around the world, and for this reason, we need to make sure there isn't any misunderstandings in what we make. There are some parts that are difficult to work with, likely more so than we've ever experienced."
Takaki does not appear to think that sexual content is doomed, however. "There are people that want to see [sexual content], and there are people like us who want to make such games, so I'd like to think of a way for us to slip our way through.”
Crunchyroll is streaming both the censored and uncensored versions of Senran Kagura Shinovi Master. (The uncensored version is not available for free members.) The English release of the Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal game was recently delayed to remove the "intimacy mode" from the PS4 version. The Steam version will still include the mode.
