Not me. I enjoyed the cast but hated kyoani's vision. From the episodes being all over the place to original shit. First 3 eps were okay but goddamn kyoani hasn't done anything good since Nichijou.
I don't know the studios or anything. I am pretty ignorant of the whole fan culture, industry and history of it but if an anime catches my attention and can hold it I will watch it. So far the animes I've liked and finished have been Sailor Moon, Dragon Maid, Madoka Magica, Death Parade and Gabriel Dropout. I like magical girls and mythical creatures. In Western media my favourite genre is urban fantasy but I don't know how much of an anime equivalent of that exists. Any weebs have anime recommendations for me?
do you really wanna see futa kobayashi that bad?
I don't know what futa is so I'm going to have to look that up. I know it's some fetish.

try watching konosuba.

futa is basically a biological woman who grows a dick. At some point in the story, kobayashi happens to grow a dick, for whatever reason I dont know and of course the dragon girl, toru, wants to fuck it.

I only watched the English dub and I don't remember that part.

that would happen later in the story.

sadly konosuba is only subbed, but it's quite funny and that's where my character is from! It's a parody of the fantasy/rpg genre.
Or you can try watching a slice of life anime, which is a bit old, but still on the funny side: kill me baby. This one is dubbed.

I consider futa to be men. :D Anyway reason was that Iruru (the dragon that was cut from the show because of kyoani's jumping volumes) grew her a dick.

I consider them hybrids, because 99% of the time, they have a pussy and a dick. One of the most famous futa is the girl from bible black and she is a woman who grows a dick.
they're not straight up traps.

Well this may be a little biased, but if you like magical girls then Cardcaptor Sakura is a must watch. It has a lovable cast, a great score, and is just overall a joy to watch. Although if you prefer to watch animes in English then well there is a dub, 2 of them in fact, the original Nelvana dub and the newer animax dub, it's just that the Nelvana dub is a complete bastardization of the original version, and the Animax dub while certainly more faithful is kinda ruined by the voice acting.

Well, it took 190 pages, but we got into a discussion about futas.

Adding to the Konosuba recommendations. Love that show.

Little Witch Academia for magic girls (Although it’s more Harry Potter than Sailor Moon, I’ve only watched the two movies but hear the series is good too), for slice of life comedy like Dragon Maid there’s a lot of popular high school themed ones (Nichijou, Azumanga, Lucky Star, K-ON) and YuruYuri which might be the most like Dragon Maid since as the name might imply has soft Yuri (Lesbian) themes.

As for mythical creatures you might enjoy the Petshop of Horrors manga (The anime series is short and not that great).

And for Urban Fantasy I’m not really sure what that genre is (Something like Buffy?) but after looking it up I guess Jojo’s Bizzare Adventures might be that and is a great anime, I recommend skipping straight to Stardust Crusaders if you want a modern day setting (Well the 90’s) plus it’s where the series really takes off and the chapters are more or less self contained stories anyway.

I guess. Flip Flappers (minus the last 4 eps) and Konosuba seem like better options though.

Would Devil is a part timer be urban fantasy?

OH SHIT amazon is doing that joke anime I posted before it might be right up your ..taste

*ahem*

Obligatory Bible Black reference. As in "that fucking 'LOL play the visual novel!' ending".

So I have some thoughts on One Piece, HxH & BnHA's latest chapters:

  • I loved the scene with Luffy and Judge, really showcases their differences.
  • Jinbe laughing at Luffy's reaction to Judge's question really cements him as a good fit for his new crew.
  • Am I the only one who thought that Sanji not noticing the bullet wound was.. Strange? I think he's due for a power-up.
  • 900 HYYYYPPPEEEEE!
  • Gentle's power is really cool, not to mention very OP! I bet Oda is fuming because Horikoshi basically spoiled the awakening of Luffy's DF.
  • The art was outstanding.
  • Finger cannon is back!!
- Finally we get to the part I enjoy the most about HxH's world: The criminal underworld, and not just that, those last chapters have a very heavy focus on The Spiders, who are my favorite characters in the series, both individually and as a collective.. Them hunting down Hisoka feels like the beginning of the end for them though. The new Mafia characters seem like good characters.

- Illumi joining the Spiders was a very pleasant surprise, though I wouldn't be shocked if he was working for Hisoka.

- I have a feeling that the top-floor treasure plotline will tie into whatever shenanigans the Kakin king has planned.

- Tserriednich looks like one hell of a villain, I like how Togashi has been building him up slowly, but surely.

- All this with Gon and Killua completely out of the picture though, I am beginning to miss them.
