JFC these last few pages of back-and-forth about how much the GitS manga sucks because Mamoru Oshii (apparently rightfully) took out fanservice is fucking retarded enough for a Mass Debates thread on the ethics of Motoko Kusanagi's tits and ass needing to be covered up.

I never said it doesn't count, I know about the OVA since it was my first exposure to Gunsmith Cats. Just was a shame it never gotten more series.

The main reason we haven't gotten a full anime adaptation of the manga was that the mangaka, Kenichi Sonoda, had a falling out with the studio making the anime because both parties couldn't agree about what they wanted, and he ended up walking away from the project, which is why we only got 3 episodes.

I read somewhere that apparently Sonoda was a very difficult guy to work with in the first place, dunno how true that was.

Apparently, the reason the Major is bi is that the author really didn't want to draw male ass. It's why most sex scenes, nudity, or scantily clad people are women in the manga. I can respect that.

Free (selection fees, accommodation, and local transportation are all covered)
*Round-trip transportation between the participant’s home and the local airport is at the participant’s own expense.

INSURANCE
The organizer will enroll all participants as insured persons under an accident insurance policy for the duration of the event.
For any injuries or accidents that occur during the event, first aid will be administered and compensation will be provided within the scope of the insurance policy. Please note that the organizer is not liable for incidents that occur during travel to and from the venue, or for incidents that fall outside of the scope of the insurance coverage.
