All I'm saying is they weren't terrible shows. Like average isn't bad and yeah some like Devilman Crybaby haven't aged well but that doesn't diminish that it was enjoyed and seen as a good show.

Sure, that doesn't mean that the show cant be potentially bad, but I think that we won't know until it actually comes out. It also doesn't take away from the fact that there are people that like the manga for ghosts in the Shell and acting like everyone who likes it just likes tranny slop when the show came out long before any of this shit was going on is kind of wild

It also doesn't go back and make the stuff that you do like retroactively bad either. "Well I don't like the manga". Okay, whatever, just go rewatch Standalone Complex for the seventh time then, that's still just as good as it's always been. Spend too much time worrying about this kind of shit and you turn into Tired Cat or The Fandom Menace, screaming impotently into the void about everything.

The comedy would be for starters, its typical Marvel levels of dog shit writing, specially with how godawful Matoko is written. Any sense of serious moments gets nuked by said garbage comedy. An course theres the gooner shit, which frankly people who love this trash should have been hanged or used to test AP rounds. Least then they would do something worth while..
