Shirou narrating about how beautiful Saber's toes are is more awkward than referring to her vagina.
Meanwhile, Heaven's Feel literally shows Sakura and Shirou fucking like rabbits.

Special Week in game is okay, she's carried by her ingame events.
Yeah, she's easy mode. Personality-wise, I find her plain compared to the others, but that's just personal taste.

i almost envy you
Don't. I swapped Fate with To Aru Majutsu no Index and it also shits the bed (and I abandoned it too by basically forgetting the story wasn't over.)

I don't think this has been posted yet. Gets a bit overtly flashy at times, but still unironically better than any animation that went on in Season 3, so might as well enjoy what we have.

I think Nasu himself is, the issue is with Japanese Censorship laws XD he was able to get away with the sex scene in the movie specifically because it's a movie but anime for TV is a lot stricter.

I think the movie still implies that Rider raped Shirou in his sleep as well.

Jesus the more you guys talk, the more tourist you guys sound, the God of Nothing being the greatest one.

Nasu never abandoned the idea of sex being used to transfer mana, it was never abandoned. This was a few months ago in the HF manga. And the scene with Rider (Tohsaka) in the movie was altered to just sucking his blood (which also works)

We will have to wait the UBW manga to get at that part to see which route he will take it.

And it was stated in FGO that it still works.

The Saber scenes had to change because they went into another route with the Dragon of Albion, that is more meaningful to Arthuria than just simple mana transfer like the original PC version. The CGI Dragon has longer implications that just sex wouldn't be able to completely replaced it like Rin and Sakura scenes.

>he didn't abandon it
>he only just changed it so it never happened in the re-releases
>but they're in the mangas released almost a decade after it

why the fuck would you do this to yourself?
Misaka Mikoto. I'm a sucker for classic tomboy tsunderes.
What happens in it to be especially bad? Like it already starts generic as hell as it is.
Oh man, it's a lot...

It's Wasted Potential: The Series. Instead of adapting the LN faithfully, they rushed it. We could have had a long battle shonen series with many seasons, but we got three seasons of My Harem Academia instead. The interesting arcs are rushed, the majority of the characters are not well developed, and the fanservice is ramped up to 11. AND they butchered the character designs, making everyone moe instead of preserving the original LN vision.

Touma, the main guy, is the "my power is useless/actually it's the most op shit ever" protag (if I'm not mistaken one of the first of his kind). He's also insanely annoying: his idealistic rants are retarded and a waste of time. His 'legendary bad luck' somehow makes him a chick magnet - and obvisouly an endless source of perverted 'misunderstandings'. Honestly, the story would be better without Touma. His only redeeming quality is the fact he punches both men and women equally.

Index, the small nun girl, is just a plot device. She's supposed to be really important, but halfway through the first season she's already sidetracked by the far more charismatic Mikoto. Even Mikoto's friends - Kuroko, Saten and Uiharu - are more interesting than Index, and they're secondary characters. I feel bad for her.

The Accelerator is the edgy villain/antihero who's kinda well developed. I didn't watch the third season, but apparently all that development goes out the window and he goes back to being just edgy. He's basically a Tomura Shigaraki prototype - they even resemble each other.

Mind you I'm talking about the anime series - both the original and the Railgun spin-off - and I never touched the third season. I barely remember season 2, and I didn't read the LN or the manga. The Railgun spin-off is a bit better than the original series if you like cute girls doing cute shit and fighting people sometimes.

What I've been noticing with 80s and 90s OVAs is the use of imagery to represent sexual activity. Usually it's flowers to represent pussy, and either phallic shapes or other tube-like objects such as factory smokestacks going to represent cocks and male orgasms. Is that a way to get around the censors in Japan, or did Japanese like to use metaphoric images like that at the time?

Also, is the trope of horny teen boys having waste baskets filled with "used" tissues actually a thing in Japan? Keeping that all in a bin must make it smell awful.

Pretty sure it's a bit of Column A and a bit of Column B. I read Lady Snowblood like a week/week-and-a-half ago, and the flower imagery was prevalent even though it was published in Weekly Playboy.

It did lead credence to some bizarre imagery, though. Vixens/Visionary's infamous fish-wriggles-into-orchid moment comes to mind.

No, it was the dragon. Same in the VN.

For some reason, they still hint that tantric rituals or at the very least embarrassing ones exist that they'll have to use to sustain Saber. It's in the UBW anime's Good End Blu-Ray special and in the Realta Nua.

Frankly, they should've just done a fade to black instead.

Speaking of the UBW anime that reminds of something that I don't think has really been talked about, is there an actual difference between ghosts, ghost liners, and servants.
The final UBW blu-ray came with a few drama CDs, mainly some slice of life moments with Shirou and Rin in England, but one of them had a scene where Shirou visited the alleged grave of King Arthur, only for one of the Knights of the Round Table to show up as a ghost, proceeds to fuck with Shirou for a bit, then disappears before anyone else can notice.
Probably was just for fanservice, but I'd argue there where probably better knights to show if you just wanted a point and clap movement, and I think this was technically the first appearance of said knight if you don't count the little sister complex skit from HA and that plot twist about him being stuck in the dumb little box in case files wouldn't happen for a few more years

Getting of fate shit for a bit, this kind of annoyed me a little since
>allegedly set in current year
>gas prices are somehow equal to that of the 1970s

Still think there gonna censor the school shooting in some way
