Well If I had a nickel for every old fox live action tv show that was popular enough in Japan to get a manga
I'd now have two:

More surprised there isn't three since 24 was apparently popular in Japan as well, although there was a series a season or two ago that had the exact same set up as House and I think might of copied a few episodes

I'm gonna join in on the discussion last page about edgy as fuck isekai and revenge slop manga/manhwa by raising with this manga, which people often just call Raoul's Revenge or something because the actual title is ridiculously long (Fukushū o Koinegau Saikyō Yūsha wa, Yami no Chikara de Senmetsu Musō Suru). Shit is so over the top edgy, vindictive, and thorough with its revenge porn that it's hilarious. I think something that influences things too is that the author is a woman, which somehow wasn't surprising with how it's written. Raoul feels like less of a self-insert and more like the author's I Can Fix Him fantasy husbando.

Some of the shit that happens in it:
Raoul was the chosen hero who fought and defeated the demon lord for the kingdom. The kingdom's evil bitch princess wanted him for herself, but he was too good for her, so got together a group of knights and soldiers, including Raoul's sword teacher, and massacred his entire village, including magically puppeteering some very small kids like 7 years old into gutting each other in front of him. She had his pregnant sister gangraped to death, and threatened to have the fetus torn out and mummified so she could show it to him.

After Raoul was BETRAYED and TRAPPED in the castle's dungeon, the princess visited him daily to beat and rape him in the hopes he would become her mindbroken slave. But he was just too mentally strong and refused to give into her, so she had him publicly executed (under the pretense he killed his own village and family).
Upon getting into heaven he's greeted by the goddess of love, but refuses to go with her and instead coerces her into sending him back to Earth with the "dark half" of his powers fully unlocked, which basically gives him overpowered illusion and manipulation powers, as well as the ability to peer into anyone's past so he knows everyone's sins and exactly how they've wronged him.

He goes around killing people who were involved in his village's massacre, including finding some soldiers who raped the women of his village, and kills them by using ice magic to assrape them with giant icicles.
He appears before the princess on her wedding day and uses his powers to magically manipulate everyone's bodies, having her fiancee hold her in place as he strips her naked in front of the public crowd, has her personal knight punch her in the face repeatedly, magically crushes her uterus so she can't have kids, and then curses everyone in the city into being unable to leave or die until he come back to finish the job.

It turns out his sword teacher who participated in the massacre is also also a cannibal who's been secretly killing and eating people for years. This includes Raoul's mother, who he randomly killed along with some other villagers one day, and when a young Raoul appeared to find his mother's corpse nailed to a tree, the swordmaster pretended that demons did it.
Raoul pays the swordmaster's family estate a visit where the swordmaster's wife tries to shoot Raoul with a poisoned arrow to save their young sons (who were in the middle of setting a puppy on fire) from Raoul, but he deflects the arrow back at her and then forces her sons to rip their mother's organs out with their bare hands so her can nail her to a tree, naked and disembowled, so when the swordmaster comes back he can be like "Like what I did to you wife? It's an omage to what you did to my mother :smug:"
Swordmaster attacks him, but Raoul easily beats him, chops his hands off, and then drags him into the dining room where he slowly chop the young sons to pieces while they're still alive, cooking them, and force-feeding them to their father. He does the same to the swordmaster, slowly chopping him up and feeding pieces to his sons until the entire family is dead.

Enter a high-ranking scientist who does work for the royal family, introduced performing painful and lethal experiments on small, innocent orphans, as you do. She developed a serem that turned a bunch of teenagers Raoul saved in the war and who wanted to fight into a bunch of a monsterous supersoliders who exploded to death after an hour.
So Raoul traps her in her basement and injects her with her own bioweapons she developed, forcing her to have to quickly make cures for herself even as she's puking, pissing, and shitting herself and is covered in blisters leaking blood and pus until she eventually keels over.

Raoul comes back for the princess by first using illusion magic to manipulate her personal knight, who's a psycho lesbian yandere for the princess, into killing some nobles who were against the princess, putting the princess in a bad position in court politics. The princess responds by having the knight publicly executed, but since Raoul's curse is keeping anyone in the city from dying, she settles for having her get gangraped in the city square by citizens.
Raoul shows back up and gives her a letter from the king himself disowning her. The princess can't believe it, but Raoul backs it up and taunts her until she breaks down crying. She's then met with all the citizens who cheered for her before laughing at her. With that, Raoul undos the curse keeping everyone from dying as her psycho lesbian knight stabs her through the stomach, before the knight says she'll greet the princess in hell and proceeds to behead herself with a knife.
Still not content with that being the princess's end, Raoul magically makes her near-immortal, crucifies her naked in a forest, and summons an army of wild animals, bird, and insects to slowly eat her as she begs for death, but will magical recover too much to ever die.

There's a whole story arc about Raoul getting his revenge on his former friend, a mage who was part of his party in fighting the demon lord, who helped the princess because he was jealous of Raoul. He's popular with young women, but he's a playboy who gets rid of any girls he knocks up by selling them as sex slaves to nobles to be raped to death so he doesn't have to deal with them. He was particularly working with a literal tranny pedo elite who was trafficking demon children as sex slaves for the kingdom's elites.
Raoul ends up working with the surviving demon princess who was one of the sex trafficked kids, and helps her get revenge on the tranny pedo by castrating him and having all the kids he had locked up get together to skin him alive.

Raoul then gets his revenge on his former friend mage by using magic screens to broadcast the mage getting owned and humiliated in a fight by Raoul, reveals his secrets so all the girls who were fans of him reject him, and then crushes the tranny pedo's corpse to squeeze out all the blood and other rotting fluids into a tub that the mage is forced to dunk his head in, only getting to breath for a couple seconds at a time or else have his dick and balls chopped off. Raoul chops them off anyway, leaving him to bleed out and drown in vicera.
...Except that part was just a dream. Raoul has actually trapped the mage in an illusion inside his head, experiencing thousands of unique deaths over and over, with the small bit of false hope that one of the cycles will be real so he can fight back, y'know so he doesn't give up and get totally mindbroken too quickly, that wouldn't be fun.

In the most recent part I read, he met the demon princess again and decided to help her out by magically pretending to be her at a party meant to attract potential suiters for her. A dozen different guys tried to seduce her (Raoul) and rape her when she refused, so Raoul punishes them by chopping all their dicks off and magically grafting them to their foreheads, and then forcing them to assfuck each other in a circle human centipede style. Except also the magically grafted dicks have sharp-teethed mouths at the end that also eat their intestines from the inside.

There are several layers of fetishes involved, a lot of them stemming from homosexuality.

You forgot the part where
He lets the demon princess kill him so he can go to hell. Then once he's on hell he spends his time torturing people he had already sent there and eventually fighting and killing the devil so he could become the new Lord of hell and get a power boost.

It's so over the top but it's been fun to read

Damn that is wild but now im curious are there any known revenge mangas that have an ending ? Below is one i remember:
From the top of my head i only remember one it basically goes like this (i forgot the name and i think this is how it goes it is possible i mixed it up)
3 or 4 ?high scoolers? get summoned by king to become heroes but it turn out that they are just normal ?high scoolers? so they are sent to some village to start living as normal people but unfortunately for them the village is in middle of ye olde food shortage so villagers fucking hate them for being another mouths to feed. But the villagers have an solution like every once a while they sacrifice some rando to the dungeon (i think for good harves or something like that) so they decide to do that but our MC is a beta bitch and he falls for the girl that to nobodys suprise ends up betraying him and then he gets stuck in dungeon and surviving one of things i remember was that he could take the attributes of shit he ?eats/kills? and that comes in use when he stumbles upon a village in safe zone that is filled with cannibals (he got ability that turns his blood/meat toxic) so they all die then he spends a lot of time going around and leveling then he finds that girl that stabbed him in the back but it turns out that she is like a god or somethings (very powerfull) and she had her own pocket dimension i think well anyways he kills her and the manga ends i forgot how.

Huh X-Files...

I actually have read all the comics but never watched a minute of the TV show, I liked the comics, they were fun.

For me it is a similar situation with 007, I have never watched the films or read the books and my only contact is the manga.

So if I want to be Gundam pilled, what is the anime I should and what in what order?

I remember watching the films of the first series some years ago, and watched G Gundam more for meme reasons.

I'm a fan of doing it in-universe chronologically, myself. At least, watch the core UC timeline shows in that order. So,
  • The original show (0079) should be the starting point. Everything else, even the majority of the AUs, depend to some degree on your being familiar with 0079. How are you supposed to identify the Char clone of the week if you can't even what is a Char?
  • 8th MS Team (which is my personal favorite for very biased reasons)
  • War in the Pocket
  • Stardust Memory
  • Zeta
  • Double Zeta
  • Char's Counterattack
After that, other than the Hathaway stuff, the connections get a lot more tenuous and you'll be able to pretty much watch whatever you want. Technically shows like Igloo, Origin, Requiem for Vengeance, Thunderbolt, etc. are set during the One Year War, so you could watch them around the same time as 8th MS Team if you want, but they were made much later and aren't as essential.

ETA: of course if you want to be a real Chad you should just watch Armored Trooper VOTOMS instead.

I wanted to get into Gundam for a long time and started with 0079 a couple of years ago. Watched over half of the show and had to drop it. It was just atrocious and became unwatchable. There were some cool ideas, but not worth finishing it.

The first one.

After that you have more options depending of what you want to see more, but to start just watch the first one.

Also 08th MS team is fucking lame and 0083 is the most boring Gundam series I ever seen (and I also did read the mangas too)

I think I started with 8th Ms team but I'm not sure if that's the best place to start, but a decent one.
If you've already seen the movies, rewatch the 0079 tv series will probably only add some more depth to some of the side characters. Depending on how much you remember it, your fine to either go on to Zeta or the other OYW spinoffs.
There's also the origin manga (avoid the anime, it's almost nothing but Char wank) but I've gone back and forth over the years if its a good retelling of 0079 or not, will at least say Yasuhiko probably still cared more about the series when he made it then Tomino did at the time.

The show was supposed to last way longer than it did. Originally it was planned to basically be a monster of the week show, which is why the middle half is so slow and repetitive, but when the show was close to cancelation they massively increased the pacing. The last ten episodes are great and the ending is unique for a show of its era. But your completely right about the quality around that point. The animation gets very lazy and every fight re-uses the same few clips of a Zaku blowing up multiple times a episode.

I dropped Gundam with Zeta. I couldn't stand Kamille as a character, he's a re-tread of Amuro, but way more retarded, where most of the bad things that happened to him were his own fault. I also got really bored with the story. The politics of Gundam are very samey and have that anti-war "let's get along, everyone is equal" boomer liberalism that's painful to look back on in the 21st century.
