A very good show, unfortunately misunderstood. The animation still holds it's weight to this day. Too bad the old Cashern fans hated it at the time, and the shonen watchers found it boring. It also had the misfortune of airing together with Toradora, Black Butler, the first Majutsu no Index, Ga-Rei Zero, Gundam 00 S2... It got easily outshined, that season was fire.
 
Finally got around to watching Paprika.

I was pleasantly surprised with the surrealist direction it took, I initially suspected it'd take a harder sci-fi twist with Paprika explicitly being explained as a separately conscious lobe of Atsuko's brain, and the threat being uncontrolled mass merging of consciousness a la this essay.

I tried watching Cahern Sins, maybe I have to watch it in Japanese but the english dub is so fucking quiet

My girlfriend and I started watching the anime and we adore it. It's a great show so far.
 
I heard York finally gets focus on season 2. I'm excited.
Still in S1. Not really understanding why they have the two 10 minute shorts episodes (think like every Nickelodeon cartoon up to like 2003)
 
Started watching the new Digimon since since been playing the new game. It’s been pretty good so far, I like the new Digimon in it.

I don’t follow MHA at all but I’ve been seeing it recommended a lot lately on YouTube and this poor rabbit woman. Like everytime I see her she either has a new prosthetic limb or is getting a regular one ripped off. What did she do to make the author hate her so much?

She's a combat maniac that loves to fight above her weight class. She ended up losing her arm and leg in one of the earlier seasons
 
If she makes it to the end I expect her to be stuck in a wheelchair probably still picking fights and getting knocked the fuck over
 
Speaking of MHA, someone made the claim that Bakugo could beat the Bomb Devil from Chainsaw Man and it has created some of the greatest “Bakugo gets his shit kicked in” art I’ve seen, it’s really fun to watch.

I am just sick of the mud golems/ zombies. Everyone is a fucking mud zombie. I’m hoping the evil Queen is setting up Elstri and Helem being framed for murdering the King and the current bullshit beyond zombie Angvell is forgotten about. It looks like she set-up Helem and I honestly am tired of edgy necromancer dyke.

It’s still fine. It just seems like the manakga is the same one who proposed the dyke in Chainsawman and is in love with that idea. I don’t mind of it. Just Helem has been overused and has gone from edgy fun to “can you stop spamming her power.” I am not gonna care about characters when you keep reviving them as mud golems or revealing them as mud golems. I am half expecting Julian to actually just be a dead baby Helem revived for kicks with the inclusion of Julian’s mom in the arc.

Side note, pretty sure the King is gonna be a chronomancer or some shit. The “TAP” thing is gonna be revealed as a save point thing. He saved Elstri’s life when she went alone and jumped backed to a previous save to send Arkos so that she survived. I feel like Diana is not actually going to kill the King and more some power play is gonna happen. The Evil Queen feels like the actual antagonist with her being set-up as sending Lukas and Diana’s mom to die on the slave ship.
