First part parodied Alien, mostly. Second part was a blended mix of Conan, memes, old-school fantasy, Berserk, and probably a few I missed.
I was wondering if it's a specific old anime that only Japanese would understand. Anyways that episode was amazing, it's annoying when those studios show they have talent yet choose to make shit.
Parodying the famous "Two Vaginas" Persona comic.
I'm afraid to ask what's that about.

Don't know how many of you remember an old music series called Beck (or mongolian chop squad which iirc they had to rename both in series and in real life because of the musician) but the mangaka started a new band series called "The Band" and after about 10 chapters, it's off to a decent start actually.

First few chapter didn't really stand out much, but as the main guy is starting to get more into preforming at live shows, its starting to get more momentum (does remind me of the very early chapters of blue giant).

Although one thing to take note of, its a monthly so its gonna feel twice as slow as a weekly series so might want to wait until there's a decent amount of chapters to read, and or if it ends up getting weird like sooner then Beck did with stuff like the bullet riddled guitar, the stuff with the mafia/gang and the two dogs being worth a hell of a lot of money, and eddies last song.

I still can't understand what was wrong with the ending. It wasn't trying to be a Naruto clone so much as what Naruto should have been. Gege wasn't trying to make Yuji the next Hokage.

I'm sure this isn't going to backfire.

Post some examples that they are specifically JJK fans. As if they weren't pathetic enough they cope and seethe over the ending, "erm ackshually Jujutsu Kaisen had a perfect ending".
Straight Outta Reddit. Mainly the JJK shitposting sub Lobotomy Kaisen. She (could be a he, who knows) is the mod of that sub & later doubled down on it too.

The sub itself is surprisingly divided between the stereotypical empathetic & tolerant redditors & people literally saying you're a massive faggot for making fun of a guy who got publicly assassinated in front of his wife & 2 kids just because he wasn't a far-left liberal like all of them, some of the people on the other side also didn't agree with him (they're redditors after all) but even then they think it's a faggy thing to do.

And they prove just how pozzed they were from the start.

EDIT: I can just imagine Itagaki Keisuke making a chapter on Kirk, saying that he was weak for not catching the bullet with his bare teeth. I'm not even kidding here. He's just a boomer deep down who ironically loves Democrats.

Speaking of JJK, The first chapter of the sequel (spin-off?) is already out proper. First two panels in the spoiler

Oops! All aliens

I'm totally baffled by the alien angle, partly because this has been a historically popular decision with shounen mangaka (DB -> DBZ, Nauruto -> Boruto, and probably some other manga I can't currently recall.) and partly because just like with Boruto, its stupid and makes no sense in the context of the original story, undermines it even.
If Sukuna ends up being an alien the reactions will be funny to see though.

The JJK fandom is a fucking dump
It's a little crazy to me how fucking unfunny it is. I think overall the fandom feels weird, because they got (or get, I guess, given that there's new content being made) so hyped about it, made a ton of memes, fanart etc. and once it ended, people just stopped talking about it.
I think that JJK was made to be enjoyed in a weekly format rather than multiple chapters at a time.

Lobotomy Kaisen is sorta funny at times but the problem I have with it is that people start unironically thinking some of the shit they say about characters and the story is true (like saying that the aliens waited until after all of the heavy hitters died).

I was thinking of picking up the Ichi the Killer manga considering that its finally being localized, ive seen the Miike film a couple of times now and have just been fascinated by the absolute filth and repulsivness of it. Has anyone here read the manga and is it good?

Man, this weeks Panty&stocking episode was straight up porn for half the episode. How do they get away with this?

The other half was kick-ass though.
