I just finished Frieren and Delicious in Dungeon. I need some more light-hearted animes to just watch casually, anything you recommend?
Light-hearted and extremely casual? Okitsura. Technically it's a very light romance BUT you're going to learn a lot of things about Okinawa!

Japan's been doing the cross dresser character trope for ages. Lots of traps too. I guess being nuked twice turns you gay
Yep, weird how many anime tourists expect it to be super based and then get weirded out. Though I guess actual trannies appear more rather than being a gag/trap.

It's a man with a male body and voice who clearly states that he's a man, assuring that wearing makeup and dresses does not make somebody a woman. Honestly compared to the usual go at it I don't see why this would be that big of a deal outside pissing off trannies over "the author not understanding her".

Has anyone even bothered looking at a series this season called Moonrise, the only things I've heard about it was Arakawa was brought in to do the character designs and some people where complaining that netflix batched released it on a random day a few weeks ago with little to no announcement.

Gave the first episode a try and to sum it up, it starts with some characters on the moon getting attacked by some robots for a bit, flashes back a few months(?) to when they where on earth living peacefully before not Zeon colony drops bombs a giant space/elevator thing right over Los Angeles, presumably destroying the city, and declaring war on the earth government.

I might give it a few more episodes if I have nothing better to watch, but I have a feeling it might be another Lazarus with some ham fisted current day shit shoved in that stick out like a sore (there was already a bit with one of the kids playing some pokemon go knockoff, but thankfully that only lasted about 10 seconds at most in one scene).

Vinland Saga is just the author telling us that no matter how evil someone is, you should just follow the Japanese logic of not giving a shit. At all. It'll just go away eventually, right? Plot armor is the solution to everything.

I was so hype to see Wind Breaker, the gang violence/bike racing manhwa to be serialized, only to see it's this dogshit slop instead. Shame.

Injecting foreign culture into a historical piece of media is cool when Japan does it.
