Jump has axed so much shit that any other magazine would have loved to have because it never reached their ridiculous standards of success so it's their own fault they are in this situation where a lot of new series are worse than things they have axed in the past.Nah dude, it'll finish in the 2030s due to how Oda's scheduling and pacing works, on top of some breaks that definitely pushed the end goal's end date further down the road.
But also I have a feeling Jump wants it to stay as long as narratively possible because once One Piece ends, that's a HUUUUUUUGE hole left behind that they'll never recover from. Hell, they haven't been able to quite fill in that Dragon Ball hole despite their best(?) efforts.
Settling for mediocrity isn't good, but getting rid of good series because they aren't a cultural phenomenon or simply mishandling properties leads to a completely different issue.
