As far as I remember, the closest that we ever got to Galaxy Police Detective First Class Kiyone Makibi even giving hints of romantic feelings towards anyone was in that weird second Tenchi Muyo movie, Daughter of Darkness, the movie that seemed to take place in a once-off hybrid continuity of the OVA and TV series continuities (unlike the first and third movies, which were both set in the TV series canon), where Kiyone seemed to be showing some affection towards Tenchi's father.

That's with the caveat that I've mostly forgotten what Kiyone was like in Tenchi in Tokyo, where she seemed a bit dumbed down compared to Tenchi Universe, but that's yet another continuity anyway.

Proves Mihoshi's story was half right. Maybe she is from the OVA continuity, but that explosion probably sent her to a worm hole leading to the Universe continuity, and caused a chain reaction creating the continuity of Daugther of Darkness. Then again she appeared in Dual so this isn't far off.

This is the first introduction of that 14-year-old "trap" character, I censored the nipple but it wasn't censored in the original pic.
I read five chapters total, and they were sexualized every single time they appeared.

I've been rewatching Batman: Gotham Knight(2008 anthology movie where each of the six stories is animated by a different anime studio) and I completely forgot pretty boy Bruce Wayne(with Kevin Conroy's VA) and Griffith Batman existed, courtesy of Bee Train.

Also some weird fever dream looking animation from Madhouses' first story. Batman looks weird as hell with those lips and proportions

Question about Sailor Moon manga.
I saw there's the Eternal Edition and Naoko Edition. Financially speaking, I imagine the Naoko Edition would be best. It seems small and compact. I know you lose the color pages though...even the color pages from the Kodansha editions?

So the color pages from the Kodansha volumes remain intact praise be. Also the size of the Eternal editions feels too awkward for a manga imo. Curious about the translation though.

I caught wind of it yesterday on 4chan. Long story short, you remember that classic boomer Tenchi franchise? Some fans here in America actually snagged the rights to it. Apparently, all they had to do was show the big shots in Japan that there’s still love for it with a kickstarter of some reprints of old American Tenchi comics, and boom—they nailed it in less than a week!

They’re calling themselves Armiger Entertainment, and they’re hyped to make American Tenchi stuff, kinda like Tenchi Universe, ‘cause they’re not super stoked with how Kajishima’s, the OG creator, has been handling the franchise. Honestly, I’m just pumped to see more Kiyone and Ryoko, so no complaints here!

I remember loving Tenchi back in the day so this is awesome news

Like Made in Abyss is a really good Anime Roadside Picnic and I'm willing to ignore the authors barely disguised fetishes even though I KNOW he would never survive a hard drive check. For you torrenting dudes, what have you been using in recent years to find those older and more obscure anime and manga in decent quality? I have found your average native hosting piracy site doesn't have a ton of classics, or has awful quality.

Is Nyaa.si really that poor quality when it comes to obscure anime? Man I wonder if that could ever have to do with the fact that registrations have been closed for YEARS and you can't upload torrents without one....

I use nyaa.land, but I don't know if you're going to find what you're looking for. I never had any problems finding older things in there - I just downloaded the entire Magic Knight Rayearth series and OVAs from it.
