As far as I remember, the closest that we ever got to Galaxy Police Detective First Class Kiyone Makibi even giving hints of romantic feelings towards anyone was in that weird second Tenchi Muyo movie, Daughter of Darkness, the movie that seemed to take place in a once-off hybrid continuity of the OVA and TV series continuities (unlike the first and third movies, which were both set in the TV series canon), where Kiyone seemed to be showing some affection towards Tenchi's father. Will it have a harem end like the original continuity only with Kiyone in it?

That's with the caveat that I've mostly forgotten what Kiyone was like in Tenchi in Tokyo, where she seemed a bit dumbed down compared to Tenchi Universe, but that's yet another continuity anyway.
I know that but I like to think that OVA continuity Kiyone Makibi eventually got off of that asteroid that Mihoshi left her stranded on in the Mihoshi Special. In the original continuity, Tenchi's mom's name is Kiyone
Proves Mihoshi's story was half right. Maybe she is from the OVA continuity, but that explosion probably sent her to a worm hole leading to the Universe continuity, and caused a chain reaction creating the continuity of Daugther of Darkness. Then again she appeared in Dual so this isn't far off.I know that but I like to think that OVA continuity Kiyone Makibi eventually got off of that asteroid that Mihoshi left her stranded on in the Mihoshi Special.
You only read five chapters? For all you know, they stopped sexualizingI decided to check the manga of this adaption since it's been defended here.
From what I just read: Most of the cast are in their first year of high school (15+).
This is the first introduction of that 14-year-old "trap" character, I censored the nipple but it wasn't censored in the original pic.The trap character is a third-year middle schooler (14+).

I read five chapters total, and they were sexualized every single time they appeared.
Is there a reason why some people in this thread are claiming this isn't pedoslop? Is it a partisan issue because you don't want to admit hood weebs are actually right for once?
So the color pages from the Kodansha volumes remain intact praise be. Also the size of the Eternal editions feels too awkward for a manga imo. Curious about the translation though.Question about Sailor Moon manga.
I saw there's the Eternal Edition and Naoko Edition. Financially speaking, I imagine the Naoko Edition would be best. It seems small and compact. I know you lose the color pages though...even the color pages from the Kodansha editions?
There is plenty of anime with nothing like this in them. And this is an issue with otaku culture. Not Japanese culture., and I have long accepted that I need to tolerate their differing sensibilities if I am going to consume their entertainment
Do you think kids should care that they live in a society that sexualize them in fictional works? I'm not sure what this argument is. Promoting pedophilia is still promoting pedophilia, fictional or not.I do not care about fiction. I care about actual kids.
But you guys are spending energy defending it, no one is asking you to get bent out of shape about it. You see hood weebs criticize this anime on twitter and in my opinion you're getting bent out of shape about that. "All Xiggers are cordially invited to kill themselves at their earliest possible convenience." That was you.I care about actual kids. I am not going to get bent out of shape over some dime-a-dozen horny gag manga that will probably have a thoroughly mediocre or outright bad adaption when I could reserve the energy and focus of being angry about children being victimized. I get very mad when it's children, but I don't care when it is a drawing.
I disagree, I can name 10 anime right now without an ounce of pedophilia in it. I don't think pedoslop should be promoted and defended just because it is "fiction". And if most people here think that anime/manga has pedophilia in it, and that should be defended because it is "their culture", then I'm wondering why do we have a KF thread about people openly enjoying pedophilia here.If this bothers you this deeply, then you should stop consuming Japanese entertainment for your own sake. Seriously, you are just going to have an aneurysm if you keep consuming anime and manga when you clearly can not handle the Japanese humor and proclivities that are inherent to it.
I just think there's a big difference between depictions of clearly prepubescent children, aka lolicon, and drawings of sexually mature females that just happen to have a fictional age slapped onto them.Is there a reason why some people in this thread are claiming this isn't pedoslop? I remember loving Tenchi back in the day so this is awesome newsWell, what do ya know? These folks totally pulled it off!
I caught wind of it yesterday on 4chan. Long story short, you remember that classic boomer Tenchi franchise? Some fans here in America actually snagged the rights to it. Apparently, all they had to do was show the big shots in Japan that there’s still love for it with a kickstarter of some reprints of old American Tenchi comics, and boom—they nailed it in less than a week!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/armigerentertainment/tenchi-muyo-original-omnibus-edition
They’re calling themselves Armiger Entertainment, and they’re hyped to make American Tenchi stuff, kinda like Tenchi Universe, ‘cause they’re not super stoked with how Kajishima’s, the OG creator, has been handling the franchise. Honestly, I’m just pumped to see more Kiyone and Ryoko, so no complaints here!
How is the character I posted from the manga, adult in appearance?I just think there's a big difference between depictions of clearly prepubescent children, aka lolicon, and drawings of sexually mature females that just happen to have a fictional age slapped onto them.
To call something pedoslop, I put more weight on the appearance of the characters instead of whatever age the artist gave them, but you do you ig

>shit drawing of girls posing in bathing suits
Passione is absolute fucking trash, and I'm getting Higurashi SHITsugou vibes bad from it. They literally still haven't fucking learned how to draw girls in bathing suits properly.
While not an outright abortion like modern productions, this is sadly the proof that the (((west))) has been getting its tendrils into animu for much longer than most think. Slowly at first, allowing creative freedom, only niggering things at the corners, then all at once, and suddenly niggers are everywhere. Industry death by a thousand kosher cuts, and it only gets worse as the japs continue to sell out their culture to the lowest bidder because their economy is held together with spit and shoe-strings.I've been rewatching Batman: Gotham Knight(2008 anthology movie where each of the six stories is animated by a different anime studio) and I completely forgot pretty boy Bruce Wayne(with Kevin Conroy's VA) and Griffith Batman existed, courtesy of Bee Train.

Also some weird fever dream looking animation from Madhouses' first story. Batman looks weird as hell with those lips and proportions

Sure, but people need to stop defending pedoslop here in the first place. Can you guys take the loli debate shit elsewhere so the thread doesn't get nuked when some retard inevitably tries to die on the most retarded of hills? We nearly lost the vtuber thread until someone offered up a pedo's dox to appease Null. This is the only place on the internet I can talk about my autistic japeneese cartoons that isn't complete shit and I don't want to see it getting swept into the garbage bin by a janny

Is Nyaa.si really that poor quality when it comes to obscure anime? Man I wonder if that could ever have to do with the fact that registrations have been closed for YEARS and you can't upload torrents without one....I recently started going through my backlog since this season is shit, and realized that pretty much every torrent site I used to use either sucks now, died, or went private. For you torrenting dudes, what have you been using in recent years to find those older and more obscure anime and manga in decent quality? I have found your average native hosting piracy site doesn't have a ton of classics, or has awful quality.
I use nyaa.land, but I don't know if you're going to find what you're looking for. I never had any problems finding older things in there - I just downloaded the entire Magic Knight Rayearth series and OVAs from it.For you torrenting dudes, what have you been using in recent years to find those older and more obscure anime and manga in decent quality?
