Another fantastic VA, I absolutely love his roles in TYPE-MOON stuff and I think Kirei is definitely his best role since Joji gives him this very charming charisma that makes you pay full attention to him with how good his voice acting is, and he definitely really loves the role with the amount of times he cosplayed as Kirei

I'd argue Kireir is one of the most important pillars of Fate, he is a fantastic villain that oozes charisma.

Also that fucking Mapo Tofu scene is one of the all time greats in Visual Novel history

Just finished watching Initial D First Stage episode 20. The feels, man, the feels.

I believe the 79' anime covers only the first book, and it's pretty much a perfect adaptation. There was also a 2009 adaptation of Before Green Gables which covers Anne's tragic past. However, you're not dealing with proto-Ghibli for that one. As it turns out, the 79' series had Hayao Miyazaki working on it... so the Ghibli vibes I felt were actually spot on. The show was simply too beautiful to be just some random production, it had talent behind it.

Not gonna lie, that actually makes me feel a bit conflicted since if its Miyazaki and other founding members of Ghibli it probably looks amazing.
But 50 episodes seems like a lot for iirc a 300-400 page book, and reminds me a little of peter Jackson deciding to make 3 movies out a children's book that was almost the same length.

I'll probably have to sit down and watch it to truly decide, from what I've seen and heard it sound like they used the flesh out the island (if it's Miyazaki I'm gonna bet an a lot of extra nature shots) instead of adding filler scenes that weren't in the book or dragging each scene as long as possible

Finished the Island of Giant Insects manga, and given what happens after the anime movie adaptation ends, it's no wonder why the rest of the manga got an anime adaptation. Also, given the amount of sex scenes in the manga, were those only put in because the mangaka didn't want to include actual bestiality with human-insect sex? (would it could as bestiality technically or no?)

Also, the ending wasn't actually one, and only an excuse to continue the insect and random human sex fest with a sequel manga.

It seems like the mangaka was inspired by low budget creature films that The Asylum makes, but the sections about the details about the giant insects seemed like the mangaka wanted to be scientific about it, but those just make the story more of a drag to go through.

I don’t know where else to ask this question, so I figured you guys might know.

What character is on Screamachu’s car during this police bodycam video?

I can’t tell if it’s an anime or vTuber sticker since they all look the same to me these days.

I wish Bravern would get a physical release. It was hilarious.

There's a fucking Kakegurui Netflix adaptation right now.

Good thing I only cared about the ecchi and porn of this show, cause I would be devastated otherwise looking at this.
Oh god its Canadian production. Thats even worse. Why would you do this shit when there is already a perfectly good live action adaptation that exists? And it looks like the girl who got the spinoff got shafted judging by the trailer.

I would like Discotek to aquire Masterpiece Theater. I believe they're releasing one this year. I forget the name. But imagine if we got:

Anne of Green Gables
Pollyanna
Heidi Girl of the Alps
1000 Leagues in Search of Mother
Les Miserables

Etc etc etc

New chapter of Gate is out
After damaging the gate, horrible things are about to happen

Japan really seems to like AOGG and Heidi in particular, there's a trio of minor bonus bosses in Xenoblade X of all things named after Heidi characters. (Or maybe XBX's writer just reads more than average in general, there's a pair of giant sandworm enemies fittingly enough named with Dune references.)

Except for One Piece, it looks like. Can't exactly Americanize a setting that doesn't actually take place in the real world.
helps that oda is directly involved in the production so any shenanigans netflix tries to pull will likely fall flat on its face. that probably contributed to why it ended up being as good as it did.
Its great. Even the humor is on point. Starlia seeing Ragna as a sword with arms had me dying

The scene where he tosses the slime was also pretty funny
Slime.mp4
How many times has that slime been traumatized for Crimson to have to build that feature into him
i'm surprised ragna crimson isn't talked about more. there are a lot of interesting things about it and some pretty fun characters. though i don't really like the anime adaptation that much because i don't think it does the average manga chapter's artstyle justice. to be fair, they would certainly work themselves into a frenzy trying to keep up with it.

Fuck. It. I still got all my (very abused) DVD'S of Bakugan S1. That shit is a anime. Imma gonna rewatch it.
This hovered in my feed for a week before I watched it, now I feel the dreaded N word. Nostalga. Let us see if Bakugan was true kino or shit lads.

As much as I like Ninja and Assassin under one roof. The ultimate ninja and assassin pair would continue to be in Kill Me Baby

Also the entire show's on YouTube so go watch.
