Dog Nigga is unironically peak manga and everybody should read it.

It's not that I find it shocking. I just don't like Yuri and think that it should be relentlessly mocked and made fun of at any time and for any reason. Lesbians, especially the "lesbians", should be made to feel beneath the rest of us.
On one hand, you’re not wrong on power tripping lesbians, but I offer a counterpoint:

Some yuri is better than others.

It's as unhinged as Baki and made by a Black Weeb, it's surprisingly enjoyable from when I read it awhile back.
I’m not bullshitting, I am enraptured by the writing and characters of Dog Nigga.
The way it portrayed the school shooting at Obama High is peak, it actually hit home especially when we got to the response and the grief after all the death. And the cop’s backstory of being the only one to attend the funeral of that eighteen year old with the knife was honestly an amazing and heartbreaking sequence, same with Rex’s backstory chapter about his school days.

I’m loving this manga and I did not expect peak fiction but that’s what it’s shaping up to be.
Next Chainsaw Man, calling it now it will be an international phenomenon lmao.

I don't get how older and far lesser known anime back then would have songs by relatively lesser known but still high profile western bands.
Like you had Juno Reactor for Texhnolyze
https://youtube.com/watch?v=u3SzOzm8lmoOr a Durant Durant song for I think it was called Speedographer or something along those lines.
All I know is it was sick as hell, even though speedgrapher or whatever the hell it was called was pretty meh.
While not a band, Paul Oakenfold, a pretty popular trance producer and artist made a lot of original tracks for the anime movie Vexille.

Speaking of cute girl shows, 20 episodes into Cardcaptor Sakura and it's been pretty fun. Really like how Tomoyo and Li are just allowed to be gay without issue.
Li isn't gay, Sakura's brother and his friend are, and what do you expect from an all female group of writers and artists.

I have heard that supposedly that its cheaper to license most western bands then even a moderately popular Jpop or Jrock singers/bands and when ever one it's used its usually at the specific request of a main producer or original author (araki for example had a playlist of songs for each part and told david production to pick one for each EDs)
I don't know about back then but I feel like most modern anime that end being a hit in japan, 60-70% can be directly attributed to who sung the OP (and sometimes ED). Case and point, Mashle. The series only had a modest boost for season 1 and ended a good 6 months before season 2 aired (most people assumed A1 made it split cour to save money)
But then that fucking bling-bang OP went viral in Japan and it end up selling more a year after it ended then when it was being published.

If I had to guess which are the the current artists production committees will pay an arm and a leg for in an attempt to make there series popular (although there are a few others) it would be:
Yoasobi
Creepy Nuts
Kenshi Yonezu
HIGE DANdism
LiSA

this isn't anything new, I remember FLOW being at one point being one of the most popular anime bands of the 00s-10s that every poplar series would try to get and I think it was Granrodeo or Oldcodex that people used to jokingly point to as the band who sung every popular fujobait anime.

I may be biased because am currently in the middle of an Ender Magnolias playthrough and I absolutely love the soundtrack, but I'm surprised Mili isn't on that list. I think outside of Goblin Slayer and I think one of the newer Ghost in the Shell's she's not really a big anime mainstay.
I guess the whole breathy soft spoken japanese woman gimmick isn't as sellable as creepy nuts.

Is there a lot of action i need my girls with gun fix lol especially since gunslinger girl is out of print
since people already talked about yuri there's always assault lily bouquet (banger OP, one of the few animus with kaos' seiyuu) and ofc lycoreco
no idea about mango.
