Came across this, and it wasn't too bad—until the guy decides he believes Tiff is autistic, so calling her a bad character is you just being plain wrong and mean. Lmao.

It was a special and basically Trump comes across as sly. It’s like 8 years old at this point, but spoilers Trump buys the Deathnote when a journal holder decides to sell it. This pisses off the Shinigami who create new rules in order to kill both the buyer and seller. When Ryuk comes to tell Trump, Trump just gives it back. His goal wasn’t really to use it. Just the threat and moral high ground of sealing away the Deathnote. Ryuk just goes “huh, alright. Wise choice” and fucks off.
Actually DN Trump wanted to use the note, Ryuk tells him he can just take it, die on the spot and his second in line will be able to pick it up and make the US all powerful. DN Trump's "nah I'm good, I'll pretend I took it and sealed it anyway" strategy is just the smarter choice. Although realistically it's hard to think there wouldn't be dissent (where is it? How does nobody know except him?), you'd think three letters agencies would try to uncover this secret and maybe use the note.

I thought it was pretty overrated but there are a number of individual episodes I appreciate. When it first came out I kind of thought it was just plain mediocre but then when I realized what it was actually doing, exploring the multiple different types of love, I appreciated it a lot more. But overall it was just okay and Antarctica from the same season was better anyways.
The "birthday letters to my daughter" episode was quite touching.

We got a new Happy Science movie coming out lol.

It's missing two characters who both troll devil girls played by Naomi Oozora, one intentionally (as the angel Raphiel in Gabriel DropOut opposite Oozora as Satania) and one unintentionally (as the devil Druj, who disguises herself as a human businesswoman and takes over a business consultation firm and who lives in luzury with seemingly infinite wealth at her command, unlike Jahy, played by Oozora, who, after being ejected from the dark realm, has to live in a tiny apartment and work part time in a tavern just to be able to afford bean sprouts and mayonnaise).

I also enjoyed Kana Hanazawa as Zange, Nagi's sister/rival, in Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens.

Sat down and read through Blame! Was pleasantly surprised, even though it is a clusterfuck at times. Reminded me a bit of the weird shit going on in Gantz.

Why is Sunrise making an isekai LN adaptation?!?! https://myanimelist.net/news/72379317

For God's sake, they could have made a full Sworgrader anime (and maybe that's coming, hopefully it is) as well as Baan Gaan to go along with it, but noooooo, we HAVE to have our heckin' isekai garbage. A studio with such a great track record as Sunrise does not deserve this blemish on their catalogue, though this began the moment they started neglecting their specialties for adaptations anyone could have done like Inuyasha and Gintama as well as tanking their original idea department with ecchi garbage like My-HiME (which would have been Dendoh Season 2 if they had any sense), Code Geass, Valvrave, and Cross Ange (which could have been a SEED Freedom TV show) as well as illogical trainwrecks like Gundam Unicorn and IBO. Weep and remember what once was, for the flower of culture has been smothered:

According to Pico the Spicy Warlord, the manga crossover people have been waiting for for roughly two decades is finally happening.

Yotsuba & Azumanga Daioh, with Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga appearing as a teacher, quite likely a physical education teacher from the outfit she's wearing.

And I remember there was already that one policewoman in Yotsuba&! who appeared to be an adult version of Tomo Takino from Azumanga Daioh but, as far as I remember, she was never explicitly named as being Tomo in that chapter unlike this new chapter's appearance from Osaka who unambiguously identifies herself as Ayumu Kasuga, a teacher.
