Their market crashed a while ago. I was able to buy some raws for the fraction of a single dollar.Btw, might as well ask this here. What the fuck happened to the Japanese Yen? I was used to the 100 yen to dollar conversion rate, but 150 yen to a dollar is fucking brutal.
What crashed it this time? Majima suggesting another tax?Their market crashed a while ago. I was able to buy some raws for the fraction of a single dollar.

interest rates rising, tech stock going down, the us election raising uncertaintyWhat crashed it this time? Majima suggesting another tax?
Don't question it just buy whatever imports you want now while you still can!Btw, might as well ask this here. What the fuck happened to the Japanese Yen? I was used to the 100 yen to dollar conversion rate, but 150 yen to a dollar is fucking brutal.
Which time? Recently, 2020, 2008, 2000, the early 90s, or the late 80s? Japan's fiat currency worship really needs to stop, printing more of it has done them no good. You think America's Trillions are bad? They've BEEN at Quadrillions for a while now........Their market crashed a while ago. I was able to buy some raws for the fraction of a single dollar.
Shaman King is legit one of my favorite manga but I heard in the sequel that despite becoming Shaman King and having influence over the great spirit or whatever, Hao can't do shit about anything for some reason. If that's true then what was even the point of trying to stop him in the original manga? It was treated like if he became Shaman King then he'd just be able to wipe out humanity but now that we know it doesn't work like that, it makes the whole thing seem so pointless. So basically I just refuse to read it and pretend it isn't real.I despise the Shaman King sequels and dropped them. I view them like Boruto where all it does is fuck up the ending, but as I said I dropped them so I have no idea if they rectify how fucking shit they are later on.
Don't care Boruto is fucking garbage and it should have ended after the movie. Also, I'm gonna drop a redpill on Boruto here. Naruto never actually ended at any point. Immediately after the Naruto manga ended, Kishimoto made that Scarlet Spring mini-series, scripted The Last: Naruto The Movie, scripted the Boruto movie, left temporarily to work on his own series before returning to write the Boruto manga only about 50 chapters in.
Boruto has a ton of problems but it's actually been working on fixing those in recent chapters, I'm waiting for next chapter before I write up some more on it. But yeah, I can't believe it but Black Clover is probably the best of all the post-Naruto shonen. It's not a high bar at all. Also, I'm gonna drop a redpill on Boruto here. Honestly, you could just consider Boruto part 3 of Naruto and Two Blue Vortex part 4 and although I don't like them as much as the original, they're pretty good when comparing them to the competition. Modern shonen has really gone down the shitter to the point that even a Kishimoto far past his prime is better at writing a Shonen battle manga than any newbie. When I was younger, I used to view Bleach as "the bad one", now I watch the Thousand Year Blood War anime and go "Wow, this is better than like anything else I've seen like it in the past 10 or so years", Shonen has changed so I honestly appreciate anything written like the shit I grew up with and Boruto still has that imo.
Japan is less of a money printer and more attitude thing. They just absolutely refuse to innovate in any way, be it using old tech, turning corporations into dynasties, or firing anyone trying to do a new thing They will forever do retarded things because either someone upper up said so, or because "that's the way we always did things". Post ww2 they lucked out in having enough holes to have people with talent actually manage to get to high positions, as well as the insane corporate bureaucratic work cycle suited them well. But those times are over, good companies are now helmed by idiots, and you could automate office drone work.Which time? Recently, 2020, 2008, 2000, the early 90s, or the late 80s? It makes sense for Hao to not be able to do things when the other Shaman Kings doesn't agree with him, so they decide to make another fight called Flower of Maize to decide. Since they were all Shaman Kings, they are as powerful as each other, so they use normal shamans as a proxy to battle.Shaman King is legit one of my favorite manga but I heard in the sequel that despite becoming Shaman King and having influence over the great spirit or whatever, Hao can't do shit about anything for some reason. Man, Charlotte was a wild ride. After Story/Refrain is condensed to a single episode, stabbing an eye with a dango skewer is less demonized than snorting cocaine, great Engrish, and the death scenes were nutty. To me it didn't have the emotional impact of Angel Beats or even Kamisama, and it doesn't hold a candle to any of the original Key works. Still a fun shitshow, the OST is solid and the OP's a banger.I dunno why the man thought he could ever write for anime.
if legit, my estimation of japan's taste just plummitedWas this posted already if not is it legit or a publicity stunt?
