This is on top of the visuals being way too busy for its own good. I'm really getting tired of anime wanting to show off (supposed) detailed animation for a particular style (in this case, I guess it wants to look like a video game?) because they finally got their computers upgraded, but in doing so it doesn't remain consistent throughout the entire episode because they split cuts between multiple groups of art directors.

Also fuck lens flares and filters. It's nothing new to anime for the last decade or so, but it's literally everywhere here and it just looks icky.
Welcome to GoHands, everything they do is like this.

Joseph is the greatest part of Jojo's and the best part of part 3. Also he keeps crashing every vehicle he's in, which is consistent.
I'm honestly surprised the left, with their complete lack of any media literacy, hasn't tried to completely cancel the series for having the nazis help out and have Jotaro call women, including his own mother, "bitches".

Jojo's is too strange and too homoflexible to cancel lmao
All the men are surprisingly chad, Dio has several children, Jotaro has bitches, including his own mom even, literally fawning for him, Joseph has Suzie Q fawning for him, etc.

I liked 4 best for having more interesting interactions and variety of stands. 3 got annoying with too much villain of the week, though it is probably better now that you can binge it.
Jojos, but especially 3, was my covid show with two of my friends. The villian of the week shit actually worked because we never really knew when we'd be able to meet up again. It was fun man.

Not yet, however, I'm well aware that's where the current style of GoHands comes from. Old-school GoHands handled the colorized lighting filters better and I miss that shit.
I don't think I'd ever heard of them until Hand Shakers showed up.

It is now the birthday of this character

I could've sworn they were under a different name, but nah, the name of the studio just never stuck with me until Hand Shakers came out.

But anyhoo check out Mardock Scramble, the color coordination is so much better.

There are many I can think of which fit the otaku anthem description
Ai wo torimodose is my favourite and it probably qualifies
There's lum no love from urusei yatsura
Makafushigi adventure qualifies
Tank! is up there as well
I think people just say cruel angels thesis cause it became a meme, it transcended weebdom to some extent unlike other ops. I still like it but I think its probably the last iconic opening theme or the most recognisable among the last generation of iconic openings.
I think there's plenty of memorable OPs from the 00s. They used to put out CDs full of remixes I'd download and jam to ages ago. Singers like Nana Mizuki and all them, she'd voice the main girl and do the OP or ED. Not as many from the 10s though, except maybe some of the early Jojo OPs.

It's cancelled out because fujos can drool over the homoeroticism and half naked dudes everywhere.

Funny coincidence, I was on my way to this thread so I could post some Nana Mizuki OPs.
