I imagine there is some special jank in the knife after Hestia collapsed when he first used it that Bell is not aware of. But he does know it's an Hephestus weapon and knows those tend to be expensive as fuck, enough to force his goddess into a second job.

He knows its expensive. He didn't know HOW BAD. He trusted his goddess to be more fiscally responsible if we're being completely real.

Bell's reaction to it all is what pisses me off. Ok, so you forgive the fucking urchin, next thing I would expect is going directly to where to faggots that stole the knife from the rat are and carve a bloody path, not act like nothing happened for a day and doing dungeon work next day as per usual. I'm already dreading the MC being this pseudo messiah character that solves everything through the power of good will and friendship.

Anyway, I'll give it another go later, but if the next episode isn't focused on getting the knife back, I'll be pissed.

I can live with a clueless harem as long is it doesn't advance things and resets them constantly.

The harem doesn't really do much other than add to the battle roster. And bell is constantly out of the loop with them.

I've been getting back into Sailor Moon lately and I remember when it first began, Sailor Moon Crystal was atrocious, but I've heard it got better and I kinda wanna see the movies (I've read the manga so I could jump into the movies and follow along).

But I wanna know what Kiwis think first: is the recent Sailor Moon stuff even worth torrenting or is Crystal still a trainwreck?

But I wanna know what Kiwis think first: is the recent Sailor Moon stuff even worth torrenting or is Crystal still a trainwreck?

The Eternal movie was very good; it was quite epic especially compared to the manga and the original anime -- probably the best Sailor Moon thing out there aside from the S movie. I haven't seen Cosmos but I've heard good things.

Looks like Damian’s mom might be an Esper as well. I kinda hope we get minor time skips going forward. Rather than one big one, just Lloyd during better at his job, but being increasingly compromised by his cover family. Yor forming a more cohesive identity about what she does and gaining confidence in herself. Yuri slowly trusting Lloyd and growing into his role. Anya becoming less retarded.

I remember that one getting officially licensed I believe by a Christian group who then uploaded it to their website as low res pixilated jpegs lmao

Some of the writing in Jesus annoyed me because Amuro wouldn't be around during some of J's miracles and it'd be handwaved off as "trust me bro, Jesus did some cool tricks!"

And while we're talking about religious anime/manga lets not forget Superbook and The Flying House. The latter supposedly had a really emotional take on Jesus' death.

Yeah, Damian's mom is hot. Though I'm disappointed in Damian for not recognizing Yor's beauty like his lackey's did.

And all the while the nations of Westalis and Ostania will keep heading closer to war. I think it inevitable that the climax arc of the story will be about stopping a WWIII scenario. Plus the show would get even more popular if the Eden crew aged up. Damian and Anya are quite popular.

It improved significantly. The Eternal movie is fine but I haven’t seen Cosmos yet.

Idk I don't expect the Vatican of all organizations to have completely pure interests. They could've and this could be just weebery but the Vatican sure loved it's children a bit too much. Also gives me the "how do you do fellow kids" vibe, the hippie youth pastor kind of thing.

I was reading this manga called Wounded man by Kazuo Koike and Ryoichi Ikegami and I came across this.

Considering this was a pretty famous manga in Japan, I have a strong suspicion that this influenced the eclipse in Berserk to some extent. Miura was at the very least aware of this manga even if its like a Paprika Inception situation.

A lot of people like to say Inception ripped off Satoshi Kons Paprika a lot which also had a central gimmick of dream invasions and planting ideas although it was a psychological thriller instead of an action heist movie. Its not conclusive but one of the scenes was a one to one ripoff so people tend to say even if the entire film was not plagiarized, Nolan was aware of Paprikas existence enough to rip material from it.
