My condolences.

Someone has to, I guess.

I liked it. It gets pretty good and I like how clever some of his powers get, especially later on in the novels.

If you think that's pervy though, the author's other big work, Redo of Healer, is where he indulges in just about every weird sex and gore thing that pops into his head.
The fight in the last episode was decent because of how unique the "fight" was, but everything up until then was just a bunch of psychopaths talking like robots to each other for 11 episodes. The hook of wanting to see how he'll assassinate the hero is basically the only thing it has going imo.

Now I gotta check out Redo of Healer out of morbid curiosity, thanks...

Anything interesting in the Fall season? I feel like there wasn't anything good for Spring and Summer.

I think Wand and Wistoria is a decent one for this summer. There are a couple other trash but good isekai like I parry everything for summer too.

It's like one of those trashy rape revenge movies ran through an isekai filter.
Being fair, iirc the author did an interview where he says that's exactly what he was going for.
Revenge series were popular at the time but none were that trashy so he decides to do it himself and use the attention to then write what he wanted to, which was World's Finest Assassin.

Oh yeah. I'm not knocking. I like both of the series. Redo of Healer has that sorta "I'm just gonna dump all my horrible kinks and thoughts" into it sort of vibe.

I've read both of those series and it's funny how borderline wholesome Lugh's relationship with his girlfriends is compared to Keyaruga and his mind-broken harem. It takes Lugh a whole like, three or four books to finally fuck one girl. And another couple after that for him to accept that having a harem is A-okay in the setting.

Finally saw the Spy x Family movie. Very good, I’m honestly hoping the series does allow itself to move forward. The current arc is Anya going up a year. I hope it doesn’t stagnate with Anya being stuck as a toddler because that limits the series.

The last few chapters have been good, but I’d like development. @Lone MacReady II knows what we all want Abe telling the Japanese to breed.

The best jokes in the movie are Anya’s note being unreadable and Yor being unphased at Loid being able to fly fucking plane.

My Wife Has No Emotion Manga Takes Break Due to Creator Jirō Sugiura's Stress in Personal Life

Translation:

["My wife has no feelings" notice of rest] I'm getting more and more stressed in real life, and I'm getting more and more unable to do the drawing work that I'm already not good at. The way my hair is falling out has become very bad, so I'm going to take a break from the serialization of "My Wife Has No Emotions" until my real life settles down. I think I can continue (can't stop) because I don't feel stressed, or rather, it's fun to do. I'm sorry if there are people who are looking forward to the serialization. I'll draw a name when I think of it, and I think I'll draw it when I get better, so thank you.
My family is getting along well

I hope both the real life family and the robotic fantasy are treating him well. This was one of the manga(s) that I had wanted to read, and currently, the anime looks well done.

Is there even one isekai where the MC isn't a whimpering pussy fighting tooth and nail to protect his virginity? It has to be social commentary on Japan's floundering birthrates.

I'm a sucker for the whole "robots learning to be human" kinda thing so I like it, but they don't really focus too much on the concept philosophically, unfortunately.

Reborn as a Space Mercenary and Redo of Healer. The former is a rare sci-fi isekai that's fun for a volume or two until the premise wears thin and the concept becomes formulaic.

That's too bad, the manga is one of my current favorites and the anime is really good. I hope things go well for him.

I suppose Tenchi Muyo falls under that category, depending on how generous you want to be with the definition of isekai.

Personally, I like that it's less philosophizing and more offbeat romance.

The manga gets a lot more in-depth about "how does this all play out on a societal level" stuff.

I always appreciate more mama bear moments.

More Loid getting compromised and putting the needs of his fake (but slowly becoming real family) on par with his mission.

Honestly, I hope Yuri actually plays a bigger role going forward. Something like he follows a lead to a former Project Apple Scientist who is killed mid interrogation by a Garden agent who is unable to neutralize Yuri (no Yor killing Yuri, but Garden targeting Yor’s family behind her back). Have that be Yuri using Loid’s cover job to try to understand Project Apple due to a doctor at his office having a connection.
