Sorry for double post, but the new pokemon Animé has started. I expected subtitled episode will be up sometime today.


That's a hella lot of traveling companions.

honestly i seen this show being less about ash and friends traveling the regain to the very best and more about the day to day antics of pokemon trainer instead. the pokemon school will mostly likely be the main hub of show where everyone mostly interacts. I do think that ash will do some explore across Alola, but it won't be the main focus of the show anymore. i am also expecting there to be some semblance of a main plot to it. but it will be on the lite side of things and only take presidents every now and again. I still of the belief that they going to copy yokai watch since its the hotness in japan right now. but hey at least Ash won't lose at the pokemon league tournament to a type disadvantage pokemon anymore.
 
So they just announced a Code Geass season 3 titled "Lelouch of the Resurrection." So much for getting stabbed.

And also apparently Gainax is also actually going to continue Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt?

I'm just going to sit in a corner and stare at a wall for a bit. I've been of the opinion that not much has been worth watching for a few years now, but this kind of gross pandering... I don't know whether to enjoy it or flee from it.

I all for another season of Panty and Stocking and more FLCL sounds interesting. but i am not so sure on another season of Code Geass. I enjoy the twos season quite bit, heck I've watched the show multiple times in the past five years. but i don't think they pull off it without bunching it up badly. The ending to R2 was the perfect way to cap off the whole series. The Akito the Exile films were okay, that really didn't add anything of value to the series and felt more like a spin off OVA that was drag on for waaay too long. I going to remain pessimistic about it until the first episode airs. But at least this will give me an excuse to go though the whole show again.

The Code Geass could just end up being an AU. I know there were a couple mang as that did alternate retellings.
 
The new Code Geass is two things:

A three part recap movie (or three recap movies, your pick).
A third season.

Not an OVA or alternate universe. It's picking up after R2, with Lelouch as the hero.
 
Just saw the news of an R3. I'm floored. If this was anywhere else I'd be sperging off the walls about how much I loved CG. I almost don't even care if it's shit, or if it's just some little overhyped 10 year anniversary project.
 
if the subtitle is to be believed then odds are the R3 will most likely be continuing were R2 left off with you known Lelouch dead. If they doing a thrid season after the show end 8 years ago, then recap movies are likely to happen. I rather they make a whole new universe that uses the same tech and mythology. Cause who in the fucking hell is Lelouch going to fight now with the whole dame earth at peace. i mean i could see a Britannia civil war scenario happening. but that more predictable and boring way of doing. hell i would love it if was something crazy like thanks to the power of his geass is spent to another dimension were he must deal with bizzro versions of people he knew in his old life and for shits and giggles their is already a zero there and he has to make up a new identiy to save the world. but the civil war is totes going to happen thank marvel.
 
Miyu Irino is going on hiatus to study abroad.

At least we'll be getting the Osomatsu-san special before that.

Speaking of the special, I'm not that pleased with the preview shorts; they're chock-full of recycled and limited animation. Still, the part in Short 5 in which Karamatsu knocks Todomatsu out of the race is hilarious, and I have to admit their chibi horseracing forms are adorable.

What the fuck is happening? Why now? All this shit getting dug up from their graves and given some new life, why is this happening? I thought Japs hated Panty and Stocking? And shit is there even demand for FLCL? I thought fans kind of shut up a little bit after I don't know, 14 or so fucking years.
Code: Geass getting reved isn't too surprising though. I expected them to milk that shit sooner. Didn't expect Lelouch to get revived though. I didn't like Code Gas but that shit is just dumb.

I don't mean to be a downer, but there's a couple of problems here.
For one I'm not sure where the info on P&S S2 is coming from, I can't find anything about it besides the news that Studio Khara is suing Gainax (oops).
FLCL is totally up in the air to me because the rights were given to Production I.G., so the quality could be anywhere from Ghost in the Shell to Abunai Sisters


Also fuck Code Geass, I don't know why anyone likes it besides that girl who raped a poor table.

The studio said they're going to announce "something new" for the franchise on December 16, and it won't be some cheap cop-out like a pachinko game. Nothing on a new season yet, but it seems that it's at least going to be continued in some form.
 
The got The Pillows back to do the soundtrack for the new FLCL seasons, so I do have hopes they're putting the work in.
