Isekai would be better if the protagonist wasn’t the only one with agency. Or if there were other reincarnates then have them have different goals.

I’d like a fucking reversal or even antagonist scheming that gives them a victory of the protagonist.
There's other isekai'd in most isekai. Maybe they dont count because they're not strong enough but Slime has a couple that I'm pretty sure become antagonistic, they are antagonists in Tsukimichi, Mushoku Tensei has a non antagonistic one introduced in season 2 but iirc that has a part of a bigger plot to do with the sequel. Re:Zero for some reason cut out the pretty important mention meant to be in season 1. That guy isn't a villian yet but he been pretty built up for that.

There's also Mynoghra, no anime but its basically an isekai'd battle royal iirc.
Nothing strange or fun this season...
Elusive Samurai.

Other isekai'd people are usually a massive warning sign since they are near universally chads in the original world that are now reduced to the protagonist own level where he can show that being a former NEET makes him the real chad all along.

Standard Japanese isekai is just a black hole in terms of setup. It's not like the original New World genre doesn't have its own share of mary sues and genre conventions, but at least it was honest in sticking to the real world.

One of the best gags in Konosuba is when Kazuma runs into some other dude that Aqua has reincarnated.

Guy has an OP magical sword, a harem, and is totally gonna save the world and live happily ever after with his Goddess Aqua.

Then he makes the mistake of challenging Kazuma, to a duel while Kazuma's only like level 3, resulting in Kazuma stealing his magical sword, knocking him out with it (on accident), threatening to steal the panties of his harem causing them to run away, then pawning his magical sword for drinking money.

In natural Konosuba fashion though, this comes back to haunt Kazuma later, as one of the big bads shows up and the town was relying on this fucking guy to defend them, and now he's weaponless with no money to get his magical OP sword back.

I don't think I'd describe any of the ones I posted as chads. If anything, you can consider a few of them parodies of the neet/highschool student isekai protagonist.

Studio Gaina is coming out with another new anime, some gay vampire show:

I know Uru in Blue is probably never coming out, but the one that hurts the most is Rescue Academia. It could have been a modern-day Machine Robo Rescue with SD Gundam elements :(

No offense taken Feline.
Yeah, that's your problem like there: There's nobody out there capable of saying anything interesting about Evangelion, and all the people who act like they've got something to say are interchangable termites who've never watched any mecha anime. The only people who made worthwhile Eva videos were Demolition D with his "The Rebuilds just feel like any old anime, Anno is no less susceptible to spectacle creep than any other artist" three-part video, and GoatJesus with his "I hired a translator to check some lines in the sub to show they were mistranslated" and "Holy shit anime is getting way too safe and moe" videos.
I guess there's also Pauseandselect, but his Eva video was more about using the show as a stepping stone to talk about sekaikei and the Japanese anime zeitgeist.
Hey, I liked this guy's video
Altought I must admit that it's more of an analysis of Anno's life, and how this affected his entire work, than something specifically about Eva.

That organ is this red sphere, also called S² Engine

It is basically a magical energy source that allows the Angels to not collapse under their own nonseical existance, and which also fuels their massively strong AT field. By the middle-to-end of the show, SEELE was trying to make an artificial S² Engine, experiment which triggered the dissapearance of their Nevada base and caused Eva-03 to be transported from the US to Japan. They succeeded in doing so, which gave us the MPEs that appear on EoE. Normal Evas don't have the organ both because they were too difficult to make, and because SEELE didn't have an intact to study and reverse-engineer. We have to remember that Evas and Angels are genetically the same as humans, so they couldn't just copy the engines with just the knowledge that they had when Evas were first built

Oh no oh no Alya hides her feeling in Russian now has a childhood friend love triangle plot

Can you fix up your grammar a little? Because it sounds like you either want a story where the protagonist loses, which is generally a no-no in pulp, or you want a villain protagonist, which is already the premise of a bunch of narous and tend to be even worse than the straight-laced fantasies.

The coolest thing EVA has in its (frankly bastardized and now quite convoluted/retarded) lore is the fact that humans are Lilith's children. Which basically makes Kaworu say, "fuck it I don't want to kill you now, this sucks, maybe death is the only true peace there is..."

Kaworu is like that one cousin that you don't know that well but is always cool and trying to help you, Adam raised him well. And also, humanity (and life on earth in geneeral) being Lilith's children would make all of them the kids of a single mom, which explains a lot, actually

The Yanmar anime is coming out in Spring 2025. The writer is Shigeru Morita, and since this anime also centers on a weaponless robot meant for peaceful purposes, I really hope it will be like CE 73 Stargazer. However, I'm also kinda worried it will be super pretentious Netflix bait, and that concern is reinforced by how it's an anthology series (each episode is made by a different studio, and you know Netflix will love that) and how there are fewer construction-related arms on the robot than when it was first revealed -- it won't be a cool time-traveling construction robot, but a McGuffin that magically solves all the problems.

Wrong. That was actually super retarded because when they claim that humans are liliths offspring they ignored an important aspect: what about the other life forms like animals? In the third impact, since they arent humans, they get their free earth or die in starvation closed in their homes (and that is just the home ones, imagine the wild ones). Terrible idea

This was corrected in the new films, showing all earth life being part of the impact, alongside the humans

I'm kinda starting to hate dubs, despite having always preferred them. I'm watching Log Horizon and they gave the cat dude a super niggery voice for some reason. They don't make dubs like they used to...

Its kind of a mixed bag. On one hand, Dubbing companies can't help but be faggots and change shit. On the other hand the actual quality of the dubs is also way up compared to like 15 years ago where sometimes you'd get Cowboy Bebop, but other times you'd gain any number of horribly scripted and terribly acted anime.

I can't think of any anime with particularly bad dubs from that period though, at least in terms of acting, maybe not the scripts because they messed with those pretty often, especially 4Kids which was notorious for that.

You could be right. I tend to forget how old I'm getting. 10-15 years ago I would have been in high school and dubs were actually pretty solid back then, so it was probably closer to 20-25 years ago.

All lifeforms get reduced to LCL after the Third Impact, a liquid which is basically primordial soup. Humans are Lilith's children because they are the ones who resemble her the most, proven by the fact that humans and Angels are genetically almost the same. The difference is that humans can return from the sea of LCL due to their capacity to feel emotions and their will to live, with most animals this is not so clear. So yeah, Shinji, Asuka, and whoever returns next (if they do) will most likely spent all their lives drinking a blood-flavored liquid for sustenance, and walking throught a land that looks stuck in a perpetual night, still a better love story than Twilight, and with more accurate vampires as well.

All life on Earth in the Rebuilds is affected by the (quasi-)Third Impact because it was stopped half-way, so there's still some lifeforms strong enough to keep their AT fields intact while the rest of the world is still fucked with some weird crystals

Not gonna lie, Eva lore sounds as retarded and up its own ass as virtually everything ever made by Hideo Kojima.

With D.I.E./BRIDGE and most of these revisionism localization houses being based in Cali/NY, Toronto/Vancouver, or the faggiest parts of Texas... it probably is niggers. Recent political dub revisions are cringey enough, but it gets even more jarring when you hear asian/caucasian characters sounding like down syndrome plantation owners (the mukmuk accent).
