Opinions/thoughts on FLCL? I started it years ago, never finished it, though. I was more flirting with anime back then than anything. Finally bought all three volumes on DVD, so I think I am finally gonna get around to watching it all the way through.
Let us know if you survive!

I can tell you a sequel series is coming, so bows a good time to finish it.

A wonderful but short examination of all the things anime can do. Fantastic animation and a bomb-ass soundtrack. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's art style and character design is pretty much always cash.

Ship wars aside, this picture perfectly illustrates every Bleach reader's reaction to the "extra" pages in the final volume:

No hope for discussion on /a/ about this. Anime industry needs serious fixing or it'll probably decline quickly.
He's speaking the truth, I've been noticing plenty of the same animators either bouncing around series on a constant basis. Or be in multiple episodes of the same series, often in a row.

The issues are two-fold- There's an oversaturation of series, and there's more and more people wanting to be voice actors and such instead of animators. And not even outsourcing to countries like Korea or China has been able to stem that tide one iota. So unless the animation industry makes a serious effort to hire animators or broadcasters realize they don't need 150+ series a year. This is never going to change.

For those that worship Osamu Tezuka and everything he made under the sun, this article might make you think a little differently....

Knew about these for a while now.

Then again, I'm not that attached to Tezuka, really. His style of storytelling never quite worked for me, the way he'd just throw in fourth wall breaking jokes. But I got Urasawa's Pluto out of it, so I'm good.

Still need to finish Adolf, though. Seeing how he wrote that towards the end of his career, I'm sure he had most of his kinks worked out by then.

I'm a bit late but...

So what do you think? Should we wait till the real trailer comes out to start bitching?
