The best anime of the season. I'm getting closer where I stopped reading the manga and forgot to catch up from. I like that no character feels pointless, they all work off eachother really well.

I also really like when they take a VA and have her intentionally sing terribly:

If Kiwi dropped the N-word, she would be our girl. She already has a foul mouth. I almost wish Sulphur was the main character of a regular show. While Azure is your typical hentai protagonist, I feel Sulphur is wasted in a hentai, she would deserve her full on action comedy. Is she a stand in for a sane audience?

Not the first time it happened:

Obari should've made Superbia's CGI model as bad as possible if he truly wanted to homage Webdiver.

Webdiver was the subject of a funny SRW story though. His pilot, Kento, didn't show up in SRW DD when Webdiver debuted. And Sugita asked the producer "Hey, where's Kento?" And got told he'll show up when Gladion gets more attacks.

On a tangent, legit question, why is this so beloved by /a/?

The pacing is mid at best, the romance is super forced, the side caracthers become literal who's by the end and the humor stops being funny after the age of 15, all on an industry standart art style, not bad but not good - Literal HOTD looked better.

Is all it is just a projection of what these people hoped their lifes would've been, backed up by a skewed understanding of love and romance influenced by coomer like behavior, causing a violent outburst at being shown that in the end, it was just mid as all hell?

Or am I just not rick and morty enough to understand the complexities of this cinematic masterpiece?

I remember watching and liking it as a teen. It's a decent romcom with a good enough premise and an actual ending. Other romcoms either never ended, never got character development or were too much for girls.

I'd say there's probably some sort of argument that Kiwi is effectively a kiwi farmer that has an obsessive fixation on one lolcow she's somehow formed a basically one-sided relationship with and ignores her misdeeds (in this case full-on sexual assault) while being a mean girl to everyone else.

I might pick up the Apothecary Diaries manga after the anime ends because I want to see where it goes, but can someone who's more familiar with the series explain why there are two manga versions being published by two different publishers currently being serialized and which is the better version?
Doing some surface level digging it seems like the square enix version is the more popular version and is the one that's blowing up the most in Japan thanks to the anime but I have seen a few claim the Shogakukan version is closer to the original LN/WN.

Nagatoro is back in the fight again with an entire video call in bath chapter & ending with senpai flashing his BSC to her.
wasn't that pretty much the same setup in hokkaido girls a few episodes ago?

Über Blyat sounds like the most east german thing ever.
because it's german, or at least "pig german" if you go analog with pig latin
1:1 translation is "evil leaf". never read it so no idea if that makes sense.

I think that Toradora has lots of problems and is overall mid as all hell but it does do some things right, such as actually finishing the story arcs (not all of them as you pointed out but the main plot line seems to move forward)

I actually feel that the pacing isn't bad given what the show as a whole has to work with, namely the characters and their interaction... I think /a/ likes it so much because its easy to overlook its faults in favor of the nostalgia factor

Remember this edgefest? The discounted Berserk is getting an anime!

Manga 'Übel Blatt' Gets TV Anime Adaptation

oh, bootleg shota berserk
that was a thing
I was reading that from the start for a long while, for well over 100 chapters, but I eventually just lost interest. It's interesting and entertaining but hampered by mediocre characters and cliches. The Barester arc is by far the best part of the manga.
i can't even remember that
all i remember is the weird amount of women who wanted to fuck the little boy
