I honestly recommend people to just drop it post L getting an L against Light. A good Karma Houdini ending is better than what happens later. That said, the ending is honestly better in the anime. It's a bit more dignified.

Mind expanding on that chief? I'm probably one of the few people that actually read it weekly till the anime hit. Are you talking about content in the anime or the manga?

Maybe SCP is the more well known example. Basically you have a super structure filled with incredibly lethal unknown organisms. Hopefully they'll elaborate on it.

I'm just enjoying the ride, it's one of the most surprising series in how much it improved with time.

It seems like it was a lot of people's first anime, that's probably part of it. Also, following something for a decade feels like you're obligated to like it, there's probably a bit of cope going on too.

The Marines are the military arm of the World Government which is ran by Celestial Dragons/the nobility who can literally walk up to your King or Queen and say “I want this nigger to eat my asshole” anc if they refuse they raze the country.

Garp is worse than a Glownigger because he stays loyal to a system he thinks he can change (he can’t). He doesn’t believe in the system, but still fights for it.
 
Speaking of One Piece, these recent chapters are dark as fuck. People are making Berserk jokes to mask their tears.

Seriously, every time the Celestial Dragons continue to make an appearance, the worse they get. There's no bottom of the scum barrel with them.

I really hope Bonny actually is Kuma’s daughter because Buccaneers have Elephant-like gestation or some shit. He deserves the win and it would make it a lot better that he decided to raise her without knowing at first. Bonny had a panel where she looks like a Buccaneer so I’m hoping that’s it.

TCDD cannot come soon enough.

It's a fun show, and has a really great english dub, but don't look into the background of the VAs.

The show basically is the Japanese parodying the West like how America tries to mimic anime, but its really funny and is enjoyable. It's an episodic series as well.

Current days tubers or whatever to me, "sarcastic" or "funny/not serious" is there for deflecting any kind of criticism. Also, I've never seen any so called self-claimed media reviewer ever not be serious 80 = 90% of the time. Then again, it's my biased against these media reviewer type, pretentious intellectual vibe.

In terms of anitubers, the bar is in hell. 99% of the community doesn't have a single creative bone in their body and will staunchly refuse to watch anything before a certain time point. It's FOTM going all the way down for them and it is an active waste of your time to watch anitubers under most circumstances. Just watch the damn thing yourself and come to form your own opinion.

With that being said, the only channels I could ever recommend are PicoTheSpicyWarlord and MrCheese (pretty stupid names, huh?) since they both stick away from anime from 2010 and onwards and are pretty varied in the content that they do. You could tell they really give a shit about the stuff they make and dont make stuff like "THIS ANIME IS PROBLEMATIC?!??!?" which is consisting of 10 minutes of the most forgettable shit you've probably heard regurgitated from another anituber who's the exact same.

Caribou-kun is also very good with solid edits but doesn't really ever upload anymore and I haven't really gotten around to seeing his newer stuff as of recent.
