I saw this on MangaDex recently, and it made me laugh:

I'm 3 episodes into MF Ghost and I'm liking it. Its ludicrous like Initial D was and the Eurobeat is on point. I will _never_ understand why anime artists always sexualize every female in every episode. So far they haven't said the age of the grid girl, MF Angel 7, but they also show her in, what I assume is, high school
Never forget Pearl Harbor is all I can say

This week's JJK finally had Sukuna in it! 😍
I just binge watched first 5 episodes of Undead Unluck and it's so good!
On the one hand I like that he is just as evil as ever and not becoming an anti-hero like this thing usually goes, but on the other, I didn't like when he killed those two characters very much.

I hope he fights Toji next, that'd be a cool fight.

Finished Pluto, it's overall alright. Looks neat and overall a cool mystery. My biggest issue with it is the usual theme of "hatred bad" and cycle of violence, up to being chalked as a "bug" in human conscience. Hatred can be very logical and a necessary survival tool, plus you can't really have love if you can't have hate.

In general the world building is kinda weird with all robots having human like AI despite it not being necessary for the tasks, and I never felt like the robot characters had any uncanny valley feel like you'd expect from emulating human behaviour. They might as well have been all cyborgs.

Also the politics are.... I'm not really in a mood for America Bad, and while the second Gulf War motives are shady as shit, the implications that Saddam was a dindu are pretty disgusting and the usual case of whitewashing one side to make a political point.

As soon as he had it in his head to kill one, he should have just been a big boy about it and killed them both with one stroke. He's basically just wasting time after the first kill, and there's nothing more boring than a villain wasting time. Of course we know why it was done, and those two characters in hindsight seem to have only existed for the quick tear-jerk, kindov lame.

What isn't lame is a Mama in the sun.

Wonder if it was like that in the manga, too. If it was an alternate timeline take, then that's one thing, but the implications of what you've said is weird coming from the creator of Monster where he showed how evil the Nazi psychological experiments were. I get it, the Iraq War was (rightly) criticized by our foreign allies, but Saddam is not someone to downplay.

I saw some weird youtube short about an anime known as "Kingdom of Ruin" and it looked edgy with one character for some reason getting beheaded.

And then checked out the manga, edgelordism to the max lol.

I am going to guess just like with Goblin Slayer, the violent scenes will be toned down in the anime.

I've been trying to watch it as I'm interested in the setting, but Im not sure about it

I'm still slowly making my way through the anime but from what I remember the manga not America isn't portrayed as evil, the robot they made to try and make them the world's leading superpower by telling politicians exactly what to do and by controlling world events is, which take that as you will (part of me thinks the stuffed bear should of been a lizard but that might of been a bit on the nose). As for not Saddam I still remember him being a bit of a bastard since he did have hundreds of robots killed to build Bora for the "greater good" of Persian and was fully ready to turn it into a robot of mass destruction when the war broke out.

Also the hatred theme I remember it being a bit more muddy since one of the reasons why this version of Tenma did what he did is because he believed robots only truly advance intellectually through experiencing the emotional highs and lows humans do, which includes hatred. But the danger with it comes when said hatred overrides every other emotion or being the only emotion certain robots are able to understand.
But it's been years since I read the series so my opinion could change when I finally finished the anime.

It's alright so far. I'm starting to dislike the main character and the angels though. I get they're trying to emulate the women idol types found in Best Motoring videos with Keiichi Tsuchiya, but it comes off as too much and too cringe in MF Ghost. Also the GT86 has way too much plot armor and the main character prodigy type is coming off as a Mary Sue. The Porsche 718 Cayman driver is more likeable and realistic than the MC.

If you into seeing beautiful youthful women getting vored up in different ways.

Then it's the manga right for you.

There is also a scene in the early chapters where the hero decides to murder a lot of civilians with a gatling gun, all ages inclusive.

I don't intend to see the anime but they going to definitely water it down.

That reminds me, wasn't there another car racing with eurobeats anime besides Initial D and MF? Might of been an arcade game but I do remember seeing old clips of two anime characters racing down a highway, one in a 911 Porsche the other in an old Nissan Z.
