He and hinata are Frozen by Kawaki as the girl who liked him made everyone thinks that kawaki is the true hokage's son and boruto was the one who "killed" Naruto. Boruto is more like Sasuke now than ever
Eida and Daemon are genuinely the worst thing to happen to Boruto. They obliterated the pacing of the series and have some of the stupidest most anti-fun powers imaginable.

Shield Hero S3 somehow, after the dumpster Fire that was S2, has managed to pull me back in.

First off, the animation got a makeover. Feels like I'm watching a movie at some points and not a weekly show. Second, no more dumb turtle arcs. They've jumped straight into the action. I'll give some praise to the director. They took what used to be just a edgy show, and gave it some gravity. The voice acting, camera angles, lighting, it all blends to make you feel that after all the Waves of Catastrophe that their world has been through, shit has gotten rough. It don't feel goofy anymore.

If you liked Shield Hero but hated S2, this is the redemption arc. Give it a chance
I guess I'm one of the only people who didn't mind season 2, I thought it was mostly good. Definitely a step down from season 1 though, and season 3 is already a step in the right direction again.

It got better, but gosh, I just hated the first arc man. The animation in Shield Hero S2 was also wonky as shit sometimes until the final stretch

Finally finished Mushoku Tensei s2. Can't believe I watched something that's core conflict is 'my knob dont work' but it was enjoyable enough, once you're past the first few eps.

That girl, Rishia that wears a penguin costume was silly enough in an isekai story but it seems like they threw her in there and you were supposed to know about her beforehand. Guess it's for the light novel/manga fans to know. I hope there's a recap episode to get me caught up on what I missed.
It kinda explains it in S2 if I remember right. Forget what though. It does give a small recap at the beginning at what happened in S2. I didn't really feel all that confused. I get why S2 was a mess, Covid kinda fucked a lot of shit up, forced them to compress things, and it didn't help by the time it got better, people stopped watching.

Still, I think S3 is worth it. It's clear by the animation alone, they KNOW they fucked up. Its literally the RTX on meme.

Blitzed through the current saga of UU just to be right on time to get this

Damn this is getting hype.

I vaguely remember something about her absolutely having to wear the suit due to being quirky and shy or something. To be honest, the entire turtle arc just felt like a convoluted mess. It doesn't surprise me that season 2 was poorly received, it was an absolute slog even in manga form. Too many characters, too much jumping between world shit, too much to keep track of in a monthly release.

It was just a slog with the studio clearly not going at full throttle post 2020. They still had Tons of restrictions in the workplace still. Add in the turtle arc was already ass, and it just killed the hype, even if the second half wasn't really all that bad. I'm just glad they seem to be putting in extra effort to try to make up for it.

It's not the first time I've ever experienced this too. Index II was ass, but Index III was insane. Bad arcs happen, sometimes studios have issues, the important part is if they're able to land on their feet afterwards or not. Which for now, Shield Hero has

Anybody know if the second season of Tokyo Revengers has been dubbed yet? I grabbed a couple months of crunchyroll free through game pass and just finished the first season but I guess the mouse bought the rights for the rest of the show. I’m not paying them for anything and the only downloads I’ve found are subbed but since search engines are useless nowadays I can’t confirm whether or not they’ve even released a dub.

Amazon JP had the first four digital volumes of Steam Detectives for free.
This manga does bring some nostalgia out of me as it was the first manga serie I've gotten as a kid, when it was translated to my language (although only the first five volumes)
I remember liking it a lot. Among the villains, the main one is a Bizarro Batman who shoots parents in a dark alley and wants to destroy Gotham City Steam City

And it has mechas and not-Arsene Lupin among recurrent antagonists too

Little boy me also could appreciate nurses in lingerie too

From the mangaka that did the Nadesico manga. Had a nice TV series
They even had a Stephen King expy named Steam King and also wrote horror novels.

Decided to finally get into the Oshi No Ko train. Went straight for the manga and am up to date. The "real plot" makes no fucking sense, but the whole industry background is pretty fascinating and entertaining and what is keeping me mostly engaged. Maybe with the recent chapters the past lives thing will start being relevant, but for the grand majority of the series, it's absolutely irrelevant. Aqua being fucking boy toy Light is not what I would expect from a goofy doctor with a heart of gold that likes idols. That it took so bloody long for Rubi and Aqua to be aware of who they are seems fucking nuts to me, I mean, what the fuck would they even talk about when they were babies for years?. Creepy girl which seems to be another one comes out of nowhere and there is waaaay too much according to Keikaku here, again, Aqua was a doctor in the boonies in his 30s, certainly not stupid, but definitely not a fucking mastermind an definitely not the god of manipulation.

I'll keep on reading now that I'm in the normal schedule and it seems to be close to ending, but the first few chapters made me expect something very different than what I thought it was heading towards. That two creepy kids could speak with the director and was only relevant for a couple of throaway jokes and so on.

I've never read Bakuman, but is it also a good window into how the industry works?
