Is Mo Dao Zushi any good? Will watching it increase my social credit score with the glorious Chinese Communist Party?

The Princess Pretends To Be Crazy (Crazy Like A Fox?) Is a very interesting read. To survive a murderous succession fight wbetween her siblings she pretends to be insane. But there are lots of brushes with actual madness.

The Armored Trooper VOTOMS prequel comic was written and illustrated by Tim Eldred

Back in the day, Eldred had become a big fan of VOTOMS and published a zine, utilizing his own artwork, and compiling all the information he could about the series entitled The VOTOMS Viewer's Guide, for the benefit of anime fans who might be interested in pursuing the series. A copy can be found on the Internet Archive. This was back in the 1980s when you couldn't just look it all up online. According to him, it was a low-circulation publication, but it still got around and eventually it got into the hands of people at CPM and played a part in them decidig to acquire VOTOMS for American home video, which he pitched to them and led to a working relationship the company, including his working on the prequel comic.

Eldred had also wanted to do a VOTOMS comic since he first go into it, and he started drawing his own "VOTOMS" "side story" way back in 1986 but it remained rough and unfinished when he realized he would probably never get a chance to have it published legitimately. He ended up redesigning several aspects of it and turned it into a black & white comic called "Chaser Platoon", published by Aircel back in 1991, and a few years ago, a reprint TPB in color was crowdfunded.

That's fucking awesome. I'm going through the series right now and I really got to get around to finishing it soon.

Tenchi is a series that takes me back.. lots of memories and feels. I really need to watch them all again.

Oh god.. Ryo-Ohki the WMD of cute! Whoever came up with the idea of a cabbit needs an award or long sentence.. or both! That scene of her singing with Sasami. (I think it was) >_<

They even gave her a human form.. (which is what she was in in the singing scene ^)

Meow meow MEOW meow, MEOW MEOW meowwww...

Speaking of does anyone remember a romance anime that took place close to the beginning of ww2 iirc male mc was a dude who resembled harry potter while female mc was a blonde chick with blue eyes ( i think? ) remember watching it on a french channel as a kid.
Princess and the Pilot? Wait no.

Zero sen Hayato? Glass no Usagi?

Making my way through Princess Jellyfish manga and its very fun. The crossdresser actually being unlike every crossdressing degenerate irl is clever. (i.e. he has very specific justified reasons for doing so plus he's straight)
I want to jump into the fucking timeline where the anime got more than one season.

Wasn't there a magical girl series where they remain in the same age, but has the same outfits which are several sizes too small?
you might be thinking of this:

They were similar to early Viz comics, which copied American comic book releases at the time. Around 20 pages of actual content while the rest were ads for Central Park Media releases and anime-related stuff.
The Deedlit's Tale manga was printed in that comic book style by CPM as well, but the nice novelty of that release is that it also included a retrospetctive interview with Lisa Ortiz, the English VA for Deedlit (who honestly was one of the highlights of Lodoss War's dub).

Tenchi is a series that takes me back.. lots of memories and feels. I really need to watch them all again.
Speaking as someone who only just watched all things Tenchi last year, I can re-affirm that it holds up.

Certified classic, & one of the only good harem shows to exist.

Anybody here reading the sequel to Gash Bell?
It's really just as creative and fun as ever and the battles are still pretty well thought out and satisfying to read.
Most importantly though, we get more Parco Folgore.
Folgore and Kanchome's reunion was pretty much perfect. Always good to see more of those two in particular.
Most recent chapter really piled on callbacks. Gorm, Ashuron, Bari, and likely Brago. It's been a ride. Wonder when Ponygon and Sunbeam will return.

Holy hell was Soul Eater NOT! a waste of time. It feels like Atsushi wanted to do a slice-of-life CGDCT series but his editor or publisher said "No, you already have a school setting" and so he wrote it on the fly. My brother said he put the main manga on a year's hiatus to work on NOT!, but I dunno how true that is. Did none of the original staff return to work on the spin-off anime? It shows.

Also that's how Sid died? Laaaaame.

I don't know why anybody continues to bother with Soul Eater NOT! at all at this point. You either watch the anime and accept the mediocre ending or read the manga and cope about the fact that the second half of the manga will never get an anime ever.

Not really sure who Soul Eater NOT! was made for because I don't know a single person who actually liked it. I'm sure you could find some redditoid who says he likes it more than the main series because he's so much more high IQ than everyone else but in all reality, it's kinda just garbo.

Shonen series get remakes and sequels like crazy 10+ years later all the time and I kinda just dropped Fire Force but I'm pretty sure the ending in the manga is a huge callback to Soul Eater and reveals they're set in the same universe or something, so I really would not be surprised to see a new Soul Eater anime when all of Fire Force is adapted.
