And people actually thought Ash was going to win.
Gotta keep printing the money somehow.

Though really, the series needs to to throw their MC a bone for once. It's getting annoying and only feels like a cheap way to pad their series out.

One thing I kinda half-want to see Ash ragequit his goal and go back to Pallet. If only to see the reaction from the rest of the fanbase.

Well, at least Ash didn't get rekt by some random guy with at least two legendary Pokemon.

As for Bleach.... I think this song is suiting for how I feel about its ending.

I am a fan of the Mecha genre.

I like Cyborg 009 as well. Started to watch the '68 version that is in black and white. Need to hunt for the '66 film.

I just remembered that the last chapter of Bleach isn't even out in Japan yet.

If some Japanese fans are destroying their merch already, the rest of them are gonna go completely insane come Monday. I really wanna see how Kubo responds to all this.

Wait how is it even out here when it hasn't gotten to them yet?

Bleach is now over, but it's painfully obvious it will be returning with a new anime/manga eventually.
I had no real problems with the last chapter. But I am sure it will cause a lot of sperging because of the shipping and the children it produced.
I am 90% sure Aizen is going to be the main villain or the new Urahara Kisuke in the new manga/anime.
I get the feeling Aizen is going to set in motion some a long series of events concerning the children of Renji/Rukia and Ori/Ichigo, or that one of the children or Aizen himself has absorbed the powers of Ywach, or maybe Aizen had been using his powers to delude everyone from the since before the Ywach things occurred and isn't even fully aware of it himself. I also get the feeling Ywach/Azien have much better intentions than it appears on the surface, but ultimately Aizen and Ywach share very different philosophies.
It's really for the best that nothing much was explained because it gives more degrees of freedom to the new manga/series.

I really doubt there'll be a sequel to Bleach, for better or worse I've enjoyed the series but I whole-heartedly agree it has really declined in the last several years. Sales have been tanking for years and this last chapter has put it in the ground for sure.

I really doubt a sequel will be made, people have lost their respect for Kubo as a writer whether he purposely did in his own series or not and anything he'll write in the future won't be profitable or altogether panned.

Besides if I really wanted to see seven year olds flail around with weapons I'd give my cousins lightsabers and let them have at it.

Update: Japan knows

It's sad because he's a somewhat competent artist, being weekly Bleach didn't look outright horrible like some series do. I hope he just moved to monthly and picks a new editor, he's blamed his current one numerous times I think.

Bleach was great for the first few arcs. Very shounen but you could see Kubo was inspired by other older shounen series in the beginning too. It really fizzled out quickly, I get the feeling Bleach was not supposed to last 15 years.

It's just a bad situation overall.

I got into Bleach for the urban fantasy aspect and while it did have a shonen background I always thought the supernatural psychopomp lore was its strength. The more endless shonen power up it got the more fatigued the story became. Its a real shame.

What really drew me to the series was yeah, its urban and punk style thrown in with supernatural elements. It really heavily borrowed from Yu Yu Hakusho, but I didn't mind because it was doing enough on its own to be good in its own way. Honestly the series goes into a super dip for me when the Arrancar show up.

Unrelated to the adventures of horse faced Japanese ginger, the latest JoJo episode was fantastic until the very end. It looked like they ran out of budget riiiiight in the last minute of the show. Other than that though, it was a tense ride the whole way through.

It's pretty much like DIO's World parts 3 + 4 where all of the budget went to the road roller and everything else suffered. Killer Queen's DUWANG quality now probably means him actually using the First Bomb will be really awesome.

Looks like we'll at least get a 25 episode season. Amazing how they manage to fit.
