Well I finished all 16 volumes of Priest and was confused by the cliffhanger, I check online to find out the series has been cancelled since 2007

...Shit :c
 
I tend to watch subs, though I will watch the dub if I consider it on the same level as the sub (or better) on a general level. Well that, and if I like the voice cast.
 
Well, the last chapter of Bleach comes out today apparently, and it's Naruto all over again. No one seems to care that it's ending, they just want to see which characters hooked up.

Nope, tomorrow. Fake spoilers have already been posted though.

Edit: Turns out the guy who posted the spoilers is a well-trusted source who has been right before, so they may actually be true, in which case there's gonna be a HUGE shitstorm. Said spoilers are very similar to Naruto's ending.

Yep, a few raw pages have linked that seem to link up with spoilers. At the very least,
pairings and kids are confirmed.
 
Chapter's out, all spoilers were correct, fandom is in utter chaos. Kubo literally pulled a Kishimoto/J. K. Rowling. Japanese fans in particular are eating him alive.

Also the "big news" is that there's gonna be a live action movie in 2018.

That along with Ash losing yet another Pokemon League has a lot of tumblr pissed off.

I think most people are pissed off at Bleach's abrupt ending, though that's not exactly Kubo's fault.

It's a pretty embarrassing coincidence.

And yeah, turns out Kubo more or less had his hands tied in regards to the ending. The rumor is that he wanted to do things differently but couldn't because of Shueisha's restrictions. Doesn't explain why he felt the need to shoehorn romance in at the last second, though the general consensus is that it was done out of spite so SJ wouldn't profit from the last volume. Note that he made the most unpopular pairings canon.

Japan apparently exclusively ships the opposing pairings. A lot of what I heard was that he deliberately did the opposite to tank sales even further for wsj. So yeah a shitton of spite on his part.
