Even if this were animated, it would still be absurd. Why would you make what appears to be just 1 film (probably naive to assume that given the current state of the industry) for a series with how many arcs and how many characters? There's simply no way you could possibly distill even some of that in just 1 film, and even if you could why would you want to do that anyway?
You would do it for all the Naruto fanboy money

Any good animes that harken very strongly to the western fantasy genre. I remember this one ova where it's a bunch of girls in a dungeon and one pulls a switch and they fall to their deaths or something like that. I really don't watch a lot of tv or movies anymore so I just want some good ole fashioned kiwi recommends.
Just to add to this, since Ruin Explorers, Lodoss War, Slayers and Berserk have already been listed, but there's actually a non-isekai fantasy anime slotted for next month's release. I don't know if it's already been mentioned on the thread, but it's called Frieren: Beyond Journey.

I normally don't recommend modern titles, but this one looks interesting in that it'll probe the "Deedlit Dilemma". That is to say, it'll delve into the harsh reality of being the lone elf character in a group of fantasy companions, and what it'll be like for that character to watch her companions perish as she lives forever.

Speaking of, there's a metroidvania for that anime that is one of the best anime based game I ever played:

Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is sublime. The game is rife with references and little nods to the franchise, and the 90's OVA in particular. Her melancholy about outliving Parn was partially explored in the Deedlit's Tale manga (which is a gorgeous comic that I HIGHLY recommend), but apparently the new manga, Crown of the Covenant delves into how she deals with it a century after Parn's passing. The Wonder Labyrinth game is a direct prelude to that, and the loneliness and uncertainty you get from the brief story moments in the game really sell you on the premise of Deedlit being the last companion of the original cast.

Speaking of Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth, and while we're recommending, the makers of that game also released a Touhou metroidvania called Touhou Luna Nights.
It's an excellent game that incorporates Touhou's bullet hell and grazing mechanics almost perfectly, and has some incredible and intense boss fights. If you liked Deedlit, you'll like this.

What a coincidence. The second PV dropped today and showed the OP and the ED. The show looks gorgeous but I wish the ED was the OP, felt like it fit the manga way more than the OP.

This looks like a fun series, any opinions on it?:

Great if you know the material it is based on. If not, I don't think there is a point.

For example, these characters appears and all jokes with them are always based on another game related stuff. It is a fan service series

I've seen scenes from it, and even if you're not familiar with the games the characters come from, its still a fun, funny little series. Of course, knowing Type-Moon lore helps to appreciate it.

Had no clue what was going on in the second episode because I didn't know Melty Blood had its own story and characters.

If you don't get the references, its just ridiculous shit happening for no reason, which I guess you can find funny on its own, but a lot of the comedy comes from references.

I love that /m/ one, especially the Neo Getter Robo piloted by Char, Kamina, and fat Ultraman as well as the Ideon and Cars references. Plus it's JAM Project, and anything JAM Project does goes hard.

It's not fair this is better than near any anime intro even though it's not actually an anime intro.

This is the full version, but I'll also put the video I first heard it in because it's a great mecha battle. It's like something out of Star Wars, and it's full of ridiculous hot-blooded impossible goodness.

The fact that the Japanese Transformers Animated OP actually mogs the actual OG intro will never not make me laugh.

I'm not saying this isn't nice
I'm just saying this right here is kino

On the other hand, Transformers Prime had the reverse happen to it, the Japanese intros weren't as iconic compared to the OG, but almost didn't match the theme & tone of the show at all. Ironically enough, the theme of the Japanese intros matched the Tranformers Animated vibes, while the TFA Japanese intro matched the vibes of TFP.

Just compare the OG TF Prime Openings:
With the Japanese TF Prime ones:

The entire tone of the show is changed to the point of an actual clash.

Found this at Dragon Con, and yes I’m sorta kinda using the farms as a vacation journal.

Watched the first season of new Bleach with my brother over the weekend.

It's not bad overall, but the fun is mostly nostalgia. Ichigo is still the most mary sue of the classic Shounen protagonists (he even dual wields in the final episode), the show still has too many fucking characters (especially as you'd think the Quincy attack would reduce the numbers only for a single person to die).

Renji is still the worst rival in a mainline shounen, Rukia is still unused despite being the second biggest character of the first seasons.

It's pretty impressive how unimpressive the villains are, they are too strong, to the point of making the previous arcs feel pointless (especially with the revelation of the zero squad), and just feel generic without any unique traits or interfaction play. It's also annoying how many of them basically ignore attacks by sheer plot armor (how the fuck they blocked an attack by soifon? Literally the person who's based around a single hit kill assassinations?).
