I will admit, I was hoping for a new Gundam -- I'm really loving Witch From Mercury right now and hope it will go on for a couple more seasons. I'll definitely be sad when it ends.
Idk, I doubt there will be more season for G-witch considering currently break neck fast pace plot moving has been going on for a few episodes now, around the time Guel comes back to school.

They spent way too much on school settings, bunch of minor plot lines for whatever badly world building and romance drama. So they have to shove bunch of convenience things happen to move the plot in episode 19.

I mean there could be more episodes to flesh out the story and characters, but whatever reasons (higher up problems and/or writer, Okouchi, being a "lazy") they seems don't have much faith making the show longer. To be fair, the show already has some issues with production, delay and animation quality is all over the place last few episodes before ep 20.

I just can't get into the new Gundam because the lesbian pairing ruins any tension both from relationship and in-universe danger. No matter what, the two girls end up alive and together because those kind of relationship are never subverted, at best there will be some contrived separation and a post ending clip where one sees the other.

That reminds me, maybe it's just one or two false flaggers but it really feels like yurifags on /a/ have gotten way more obnoxious recently because they've been emboldened by being thrown a bone in something as mainstream as a gundam show. They'll invade threads about the straight romcoms airing this season and start spamming it up with comments like "This would've been better if it wasn't hetshit."

It'd be great if it ends up like the shoehorned gay romance in Iron Blooded Orphans.

They have been doing this for a few seasons now. They wanted that Isotope show to be gay, Mou Ippon and a few others. But most of them are troons that claim to be "lesbians."

So I finished Fate. The anime portion. Sans the 2010 movie by deen. Overall I am absolutely in love. Highlights were probably Carnival Phantasm and Heavens Feel, the goofiest (In the Room way) would be Deen stay night, and the most fun would have to go to FGO Gilgamesh- I mean Absolute demonic Front. Fate is not a 10 in my heart, not when you take all entries into account, but it's a solid 8, a series i'll be following in future years and reading the manga like I am now. Now we just need a official release of Fate/Stay Night (Lol)

@WelperHelper99 Fate is something where I can enjoy the autism of it. It's like children smashing dolls together and saying "Then Barbie King Arthur nuked Starscream Lancelot".

Anyway, I read My Hero Academia... Vigilantes. I kinda hope it gets a short sequel, but then I kinda hope that neve happens. I liked Crawler and his powers made sense, they were initially weak, but developed due to basically his development over college and his own mastery of them driven by pointers from Knuckleduster, the 11th hour power-up was cool. I would of liked an extended epilogue where he's less of a pussy because he's given up on his dream of being normal, but still a good guy.
The supporting cast was good. I did not expect vagina bees nor parasitic wasp that eats women's eyes in order to get to the optic nerve.

Brother I will never not get over the Fate Zero F-15 fight with Lancelot and Gilgamesh. Peak anime autism that somehow fit perfectly. It's a series with serious moments that also allows itself to be goofy, especially in later entries.

Eh, the more serious moments are kinda basic bitch stuff, but it never really tries to subvert it's shit. It's a big dumb series about taking mythological and historical figures and making the biggest dumbest anime with it. Excalibur is actually a fucking particle accelerator, Gae Bolg breaks casuality, and Quetzalcotal is a lucha loving blonde goddesss (I don't know why the Japanese are dead set on this, but whatever).

And Merlin is perpetually a shitgoblin. But somehow not more so than his female prototype counterpart.

Reading the light novels is gonna be the hard part for me, especially since Type Moon gives zero fucks about English translations of basically anything that isn't main line. I have my manga sites but I'm clueless to light novels. I'm surprised Strange Fake is getting a anime at all, and not just more filling in of Grand Order.

Been looking for some good Delinquent anime/manga recommendations. I already saw GTO and the prequel and I have Kyou Kara Ore Wa, Shounen Bakusouku, BeBop High downloaded.

I'm still amazed the plenty of autists who work in translation don't just export most of their work to an AI since that should be enough for 99% of the text.

Air Gear is a bit old but a good one. The Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji series is great as well though that's more psychological thriller.

Have you seen the more spinoffs of the spinoffs? I've done the Tsukihime, Fate/stay Night and Fate/Hollow Ataraxia VN as well as watching Fate/Zero, Unilimed Blade Works and the first Carnival anime. So I'm very aware of core Fate, but have no idea of the other iterations with different grail wars. Any suggestions on where to start?

Another Vigilantes enjoyer, good. I would have liked a longer epilogue as well, but that's my only real gripe. All of the cast is a treasure and love the little insights it gives to MHA even if that's fallen into a pit. O'Clock is the GOAT and even cyclops and wolverine knockoffs always get a smile when they show up.

I can say with absolute confidence to NOT bother with Tokyo Revengers. The premise is compelling but it meanders a lot and the ending is shit. It also has main character is perpetual crybaby syndrome.

Give Gokusen a shot. It's about a the granddaughter of a Yakuza boss that wants to become a teacher, not the heiress of the crime syndicate. Lots of similarities to Onizuka and the kids are delinquents. There's an anime, manga and live action drama as well.

Watched the Tsukihime anime and am playing Melty Blood: Type Luminia. Seen all the anime. Played none of the VN's. If I had to reccomend a start, finish what you're doing, move on to the god tier Heavens Feel movies. Then its whatever the fuck you want. Personally, for shits and giggles, I do like Deen stay night, as its basically its own thing from what im told. As for spin offs, DONT start with Extra, you will hate life, save that until you've seen the good shit. Apocrapha is solid, FGO ranges between good and great, Absoulte Demonic Front is just Gilgamesh simulator the anime which i love. Another good but under looked one is Case lord files.

Watched the Tsukihime anime
Why? Why did you do that to yourself? Did you at least read the manga? Why didn't you just read the manga in the first place? Why didn't you just read the VN? Why did you watch the Tsukihime anime? Why did you have to remind me it exists? Why do you seem okay with this? WHY?

Shame on you, this is beyond the pale.

Just so this post isn't all bitching, picked up Patlabor a couple weeks ago. That's the whole shebang, the OVAs, the manga, the show, and the movies up til Patlabor 2 (heard everything after that isn't worth watching, feel free to correct me on this). So far I've watched the Early Days OVAs and the first movie, and am currently getting through the show and the manga. So far I'd say the movie's the best one, then the manga, followed by Early Days and finally the TV show. Still, it's pretty sweet all around.

The fanbase has been so thorough in ignoring the Tsukihime anime that I genuinely forgot it existed. In any case, last time I saw an update it appears the fan translation of the Tsukihime VN remake is mostly done so that's something to look forward to. I have no doubt that on some level the remake will be missing a certain charm the original had but I'm still interested in finding out what they've done with it now years later and with a bigger budget.

That Outer Moon and inner moon were split into separate things leaves me miffed. I am curious if all that extra content for Arcueid and Ciel really adds a lot or if it just ends up meandering.

I don't know which pirate site is legit and which is gonna give my computer aids for the VN. That and since I haven't read the VN, I thought it was cool, that and I really wanted to watch carnival phantasm with context.
