Anyone watching Vinland Saga season 2? Is it just me or has the latter half of the season been a snooze? The producers spent way too much time on the slave woman and her berserk husband's back stories.

Farmland Saga in general is boring compared to S1. It's mainly for character development sake.Anyone watching Vinland Saga season 2? Is it just me or has the latter half of the season been a snooze? The producers spent way too much time on the slave woman and her berserk husband's back stories.

farming arc is great yall dont know what youre talkin boutFarmland Saga in general is boring compared to S1. It's mainly for character development sake.
I'm gonna wait until its done since while I did like the arc in the manga, I know for a fact I probably would of hated it if I had to read that shit monthly and it sounds like their adding a bunch of anime original scenes to make it even slower (I did watch the first episode and 50% of the stuff with Einar is completely new).Anyone watching Vinland Saga season 2? I disagree, there's stuff like One Room Angel, Stigmata, anything drawn by Syundei or Zakk that are pretty good. The only bl manga that's actually great is Under Grand Hotel. And Jealousy by Scarlet Bierko.
Everything else is vomit. Now for yuri its debatable. I say anything Riyoko Ikeda does particularly Dear Brother (oho) though technically speaking....it does not necessarily count.
It's very funny that it did a better school anime in few episodes than some actual school anime in their entirety.I'm sad the school arc in Konosuba is already over, I'd happily had a full season of it rather than 3.5 episodes.
Pretty much, there's no bullshit romance and the adventures and daily fun are entertaining. I find it hysterical that the the Crimson Demons (I think that's what the race is called) find not minmaxing to be shameful display, especially since it makes them in practice completely the same just with a different title. It's very funny that it did a better school anime in few episodes than some actual anime in their entirety.
Although tbh, part of me hopes that it doesn't get a season 3 because after HIld was introduced every arc got a little worse and worse with only some redeeming moments hear and there and the ending of farmland would of made a decent ending to the series albeit a somewhat rushed/unfinished one.
Are you fo real? The Shambala movie was fucking garbage and that's being nice about it, and frankly, the fact this anime reeks of 2000's fanfiction edge doesn't make it interesting, it makes it the most tripe experience possible from its pretentious BS writing to its whiny Shinji sounding cast.
idols are never allowed to be near penishavers, even if it's family (or a collab with a franchise that has a male MC as choice).I feel I already know the answer, but please tell me it's not because of assumed incest.
One day anime will be Chinese cartoons. Oh the (in)humanity!NEWS: The founder of Studio MAPPA and Madhouse, Masao Maruyama feels that China will overtake Japan in the anime business!
Maruyama fears that Japan is at risk of losing out its top spot in the anime industry in no time if the animators and creators in China were to get more freedom in their works.
Key phrase: " if the animators and creators in China were to get more freedom in their works"
It's unfortunate, but this will be Japan's fault for relying on China and Korea for doing most of their animation work. No wonder Orient looked shitty.Uh oh

If you've seen some manhua, they seem to copy every troupe in anime especially from isekai.Key phrase: " if the animators and creators in China were to get more freedom in their works"
Don't see that happening anytime soon.
Also, there's something that nearly always feels "off" about Chinese storytelling, often in terms of pacing and characters abruptly dropping out of the story.
I don't really know how much difference is between Chinese and Japanese storytelling, I do dislike how Chinese generic style looks even more than Japanese generic style.Uh oh

I legit believe China is 10 or 15 years behind Japan in terms of style, every single Chinese cartoon I had seen were animated with current technology but they all look like they're stuck in the mid-2000s look. It's really bizarre, almost bootleggy.I don't really know how much difference is between Chinese and Japanese storytelling, I do dislike how Chinese generic style looks even more than Japanese generic style.
