Yes, what really makes me angry is how people rave about Sailor Moon S. It's usually the alphabet people but mainstream reviewers have followed. I feel like mainstream acknowledgment has really twisted the lore of Sailor Moon. It went from a cool story about strange aliens who may have colonized our solar system through several reincarnations to somehow lesbians and gender faggots that fight for LGBTQ2+YMCA rights.
S is still a really good season, it has the best filler and comedy (which is basically 75% of every season of the old anime) episodes of Sailor Moon. But yeah I see what you mean. SuperS is underrated in my view, it's not as funny or entertaining as S was but the main plot and villain is way better.

Normally I would be super excited for this new season coming up but I barely watch anything anymore.

Overall, this is a blast so far, and I only have five episodes and a special to go.
By the end if you still have fealty for Kurisu and genuinely want to watch more Steins;Gate, I suggest watching the 2013 movie as well. Put together it's basically a few extra OVA episodes that chronologically take place a year after the show's conclusion. If you remove episode 25 and watch the movie, it works as a continuation of the series.

I watched the anime then read the manga... I was not expecting that shit. Probably hit me WAY harder because of that.

I was hoping if they continued the anime Seo Kouji would incorporate some of his original ideas he had for the manga like an arc of Fuuka having amnesia.

I've always viewed Bleach as Tite Kubo being in the wrong profession. He should have gotten into character design instead of manga. The huge cast of meaningless unlikeable characters that keep changing outfits is really all the proof I need. He'd have difficulty writing for a cast a tenth the size, but he kept adding new characters and factions and transformations because that's where his strengths lie. I feel like there's a universe where he got stuck with an editor that wasn't a doormat who managed to bully him into making Bleach something memorable instead of something ponderous and meaningless but with cool character designs.

I agree, Kubo is really good at making striking designs and cool panels when he bothers to. Bet he'd make a killing working in the weeb TCG industry.

This might come off as just me being contrarian and or having some nostalgia goggles on, but part of me genuinely believes that his first series, Zombie Powder had a little more potential then bleach even though it was kinda just a trigun ripoff
I remember years ago reading that kubo himself asked for it to be axed because he grossly underestimated the workload for a weekly series and was struggling to work on it, but this might just be him coping since I can't find anything to suggest if the series would of lasted much longer.

The best part of Tokyo Ghoul : RE, was the minor meltdown when Ken had sex with the heroine because some twitter fujos were laser focused on him being gay.

Like Ghouls are effectively in two stratas: broke ass crackhead niggas who can’t even read and an aristocracy that is involved in a conspiracy for gay ass reasons.

Tokyo Ghoul is just Vampire : The Masquerade with the serial numbers filed off. Not like it's the first or the last time a series has done that.

But Tokyo Ghoul wasn't good.
couldn't even do different types of vampires right, smh

Also, that sex scene was awkward as fuck.

These are people that should never be in a customer facing industry; they'd fold like an éclair after one shift in a food service industry position.

Vinland Saga season 2 has been pretty great so far.

It lacks the action of the last season. However, the slowing down the story and focusing on what happened to Thorfinn and what he will do with his future more than makes up for it. The second half of the most recent episode was fantastic.

LMAO

I feel like the Jujutsu guy has the same issue as the Mandela Catalogue creator. They try really hard to make these intimidating and scary characters, but it just ends up looking goofy as fuck.
are people still reading it unironically?
because the story is beyond retarded at this point, and it seems like it's rushing to an end

Well this is something that I doubt most anyone here would care about since it involves a show blatantly for little girls but supposedly the new season of Precure will have its first male Cure. There are some saying that it's a reverse trap or it's a fairy that transforms into a human to be a Precure but for the most part it seems that there actually will be a male Cure. And that is where I draw the line.

I will gladly accept any autism stickers, but I was a gigantic fan of the Pretty Cure franchise for many years. In general I was a gigantic fan of magical girl anime before I basically stopped watching anymore altogether a few years ago. And this is the one thing that really pisses me off, the one thing that will make me outright refuse to watch a season. Because it's just not something that should ever be done. Pretty Cure should be girls. That's it. There have always been important male characters, male fairies, and heroic male characters who help and even save the girls sometimes. So what's wrong with that? Why do we need a damn male Cure? This is the one thing that can really get me to go off. It was bad enough back in Hugtto with Cure Infini but at least that was a one episode thing, and it still pissed me off enough where I hated that season and still do.

Hopefully it turns out it really is a reverse trap or something. There should not ever be male Cures.
