Me and the wife are actually longtime One Piece fans, so we went to see it this past weekend. Almost damn near shed a tear at the end. It was one of the best movie theater experiences we've had in a long time.

I was the only one at the showing, along with like two other weebs. The visuals during the music aline made it worth seeing in theater. It did a good job playing into the confusing aspects of the plot, while not overcomplicating it

While Chainsaw Man gets all the deserved attention, I should also point out that GAL SEASON is still in full effect:

Even Kai Ikada celebrated the news with her own congratulatory visual:

I’m honestly looking forward to seeing how this one in question pans out. It looks pretty fun.

i have no idea what this is
Bocchi the Rock. Take the girls from K-On! and replace one of them with Hitori Bocchi and that's pretty much the show. Add some great reaction animation, rock music and "oops is it yuri?" jokes along with funny socially awkward character bits and that's a quick way to describe the show.

Same with Witch from Mercury. Replace Bocchi with Tanuki (Suletta). It's the season of socially awkward wrecks (in a good way). I'm having fun with it.

I really liked in the last Bocchi episode that her bandmates actually ask if she's bullied, it's a small thing but shows they actually care about her and it's not the usual media case that people look at someone with social problems and just take it for granted.
Also another good thing is how the show has fun with animations, especially when Bocchi goes ballistic.

Fair enough. Tho it would still be in charecter for Denji to sing abt unions and paid holidays and shit cuz he heard it from some guy smarter than him.
See he might work for an organization with a mortality rate in the double digits per job, but at least he has a Union!

The content in question relates to the third season’s special Furano City episode, which already aired as the 9th episode of the Dropkick on My Devil! X anime, titled “Lavender-Colored Eyes Misting Over in Furano.” One of the committee members called it out as “socially unacceptable” due to a scene in which a character proposes selling organs to pay off debt, claiming that this could harm the city’s image.

There was also a member of the committee who supported the episode and pushed back against this, saying it’s “only a story in the anime” and “it’s not great to single out just one part.” Despite this, it ultimately came down to a 7-to-7 vote on whether or not they should hand over the funds, with the chairman casting the deciding vote to decline. The total raised that was intended for the production team came to ¥33 million, which adds up to about $236,116.
This stirred disappointment in Furano mayor Taketoshi Kita, who said “the decision not to approve is a very unfortunate outcome. To intervene and criticize freedom of expression is a regrettable thing to do.”

As someone that watch this anime this past month, this is the first modern day anime that I’ve ever heard happen to them. I hope the third season comes out soon.

Decided to start reading Ousama Ranking. I'm frankly kinda shocked at how good it is so far. The art style looks like it's inspired by the Renaissance as well as older manga. (Supposedly, the mangaka is in his 40's, so it makes sense). The characters are likable and I'm digging the plot so far. (Up to Volume 3 at the time of writing this)

Also, Hilling is best mom.
