TL;DR: I don't understand the reason disliking something because it's being most popular or trendy on internet by fandoms and normies. But I do understand if someone dislikes because of the upcoming thing faults (story, animation style, general quality).

Just becasue fanbase, normies are hyped hard about new upcoming thing, doesn't mean the upcoming thing is bad. I understand if people not liking CGI thing, I'm not surprised since Mappa also does fully CGI for Doroherodo (another relative gory anime). and even the hilariously bad CGI dancing in Zombieland Saga S1 ep 3 or 4 something didn't make entire Zombieland Saga bad.
For now, CGI isn't that horrible like Berserk or Ex-arm.

You can wait til season ends and having compilation of horrible CGI moments and at least I wanna know if you think there is any overrated story moments in Chainsawman.

Mind you this is coming from me, who has very idiotic reason for refusing to watch anime like Franxx, Gridman, Kill la Kill because weebs simping so hard on Zero Two, Rikka thigh and Ryuko something for ages. That doesn't mean I'm gonna blatantly saying all of them are horrible anime and hating all of them. I'm pretty neutral to them. Now I remember weebs being horny for Makima.

The one thing why anime is more tolerant than other industry probably you can watch it for free rather than video games which you have to buy it and bunch of other predatory practice (special edition, preorders, cashshop for AAA title).

Though you can probably blame Mappa being greedy, they choose to work on another 3 anime for next year. Chainsawman has to taken the hit with CGI.

Also, the new Jujutsu Kaisen chapter is just so timely with the looming energy crisis. I can tell it's going to be convoluted as fuck if they actually add more to the plot aside from the US. Man... I need to read another book.

The author's a huge Togashi fan. I assume he's probably trying to emulate him with the ridiculous plot the current arc of the manga is in right now. I mean the HxH's current arc contains so many characters with so many different factions. aspirations and happenings occurring that a single read through isn't enough to understand the convoluted plot.

Hold on! Isn't that kinda similar to Game of Thrones?

It's one thing to dumb down real life events for the sake of your story for retarded teenagers. Another thing is to do that and expect your readership to take it seriously.

It's not even about the quantity of characters but how autistic Gege gets when trying to say something. America being cartoonishly evil and allowing human experimentation on poor Japanese people? god where have I heard that before on better things. Especially in cases like this when he is clearly being lazy by not doing anything creative nor compelling with the concept.

I don't know if you're just fucking around or you just have no idea. The US under the Bush admin were essentially torturing suspected individuals (some aren't even affiliated with terrorism) without due process to phish out information from them.

Bruh. Like the fool on top, that had nothing to do with making fun of how stupid the scene really is. What's so stupid about that? I can name like a dozen different manga/anime with similar shit in them and it's usually hilarious. And it's usually pretty true, since the US has always loved doing fucked up things in/to foreign countries.

Yeah, because committing unspeakable atrocities in the name of your "morals" instead of money makes it all better. Getting butchered isn't so bad when it's your own, I guess.

As to the larger point, Japanese depictions of the US tend to be exaggerated enough to where I don't take them too seriously.

And that is the thing: most crimes here are done to try to improve their own lives, in the US, people commit crimes to just fuck with people (ie mass shootings). Even our criminals commit crimes for themselves instead of the military industrial complex or your shit flinging with other countries in the name of the democracy.

But what to expect from a country that people prefer to die rather than take an ambulance lol
