"There stood a high school boy who, forgetting himself, forcefully sexually harassed an elementary school girl with all his might....I had hoped this boy wasn't me

He was, of course."
-Koyomi Araragi, Bakemonogatari

Watched the first episode of the new Lupin III anime, it's fantastic. It was 20 minutes of celebrating everything that's Lupin with pretty gorgeous animation for a TV anime.

Well it was made for a western audience (Italy, in particular) first, so the animation part is a given. But I've been enjoying it a fair bit myself. In fact, it's one of the few anime released this past year that I can say I actually enjoy without feeling ashamed to do so.

Bokudake is going to be hard to beat this season.

I'm currently watching bokudake, assassination classroom 2, haruchika and durarara x2 ketsu. Maybe I'll watch ajin when the season is over, if that turns out to be a good adaptation.

Crimson Moon is easily the worst Garo series to date. Even worse than The One Who Shines in the Darkness. The episode that just aired may be one of the worst episodes in the entire franchise.

Finally got around DD Hokuto. The Souther segments are currently my favorite part of the show.

Currently watching the dub of Parasyte. For the most part I'm trying to stick to on-going series to avoid burnout.

Anyone else enjoying Tokyo Ghoul?

Dropped it two episodes into the second season. Just wasn't moving fast enough for my liking.

I've been closing in on
the Mashiba vs. Sawamura fight, and I'm hearing it's the high point of the series.

Have you read the manga? Root A/season 2 barely has anything to do with the actual plot, and Sui Ishida really only made it as a "what if?" alternate story.

So yeah, if you haven't, read it. Season 1 of the anime was heavily condensed as well.

Also the art is looking better now, I can actually recognize Jotaro again

Since I'm on an X-Files kick, I decided to rewatch Occult Academy. I loved it when it aired and still disappointed that it was only 13 episodes.

Started reading D.Gray-man. I know hardly anything about this series, but it's not bad so far.
