Try reading the MHA spin-off.
Oh I did, it was great! It had a lot more of what got me interested in BNHA in the first place when it came to Quirks and society and heroes being an occupation. Koichi's an infinitely better protag to me than Deku and I like the smaller cast over BNHA's legion of literal who students and pro Heroes that aren't Endeavor or Hawks.

Do you think it'll get an anime adaptation? I'd be interested in watching that for one.

Probably WAY after the main series ends. And even then it's possible that we get a movie instead of a show. Also, considering the "quality" of Season 5, I won't put my hopes on a good adaption of a spin-off series, even if it mogs the main series (that rarely ever happens).

The closest well ever get to an "adaption", is Season 5 adapting Aizawa's backstory which connects Vigs' canonicity to the main series. That needs to be in a Vigs' anime more than the main series anime, but S5 had to pad out some things to match the 25 episode mark.

Made In Abyss Season 2 is off to a good start. Always know it's a good anime when a little girl is adopted by a rapist who then makes her infertile due to rape and then he also burns her forehead to mark her as his. Only issue is that the CGI models are lacking, otherwise it lives up Tsukushi's manga well enough. I don't know why, but Made In Abyss really does skirt that line between me wanting to hate it versus me enjoying the hell out of it.
I'd say that Tsukushi draws you into the world and doesn't shy away from the horrible parts of an adventure. Finding a place to shit in the Abyss is actually important because their are insects that will eat your frontal lobe and use you as a nursery if you aren't careful. He probably is a lolicon pedo, but Riko has enough character where I'm not thinking this is a Chris Claremont comic and all the characters exist to fulfill his odd Jewish-Anglo perversions.

probibly not, usually an anime is meant as an ad for an ongoing manga to boost magazine sales, a completed series would need to be insanely popular to sustain it's own existence, at least in this genre, and I don't think a spin-off has the sway. The book IS really good though....

Happened with Konosuba, so maybe it could happen.

The third season of Jashin-chan Dropkick feels like a shitpost, though there are some funny moments here and there. It's interesting that it got crowd funded, which is usually bad but I can see it working for established studios who want to gauge support for more niche adaptions.

Also need to catch up on the third episode of Lycoris Recoil, it's got pretty vibrant art and overall likable cast. The plot suggests dark things will happen but I doubt it will ever stray too far from cheerful.

Uncle From Another World is fun. I like the 90s Sega fanboyism. And how just mortified the dude is that Sega doesn't make consoles anymore. Fun show. I'm really liking the shading here. That opening is great too. Glad Netflix is releasing it on an episode per week basis too. They usually opt to just dump shit after it's already been out for six months.

snek chan has always felt like a shitpost to me, that's part of the charm. remember the end of the 2nd season where jashin just sung for 10 minutes?

New One Punch Man chapter is out.
Saitama wins by blowing air out both ends by accident. XD

Among other things.
I suppose a reset button was the only way they were going to get out of this one. I figured he was going to just punch his way back in time, somehow.
Decent enough chapter all the same. I can't say I like Murata's excessive escalation but he at least found a way to hit the same story beats in the end, more or less.

Watching Made in Abyss is like reopening an old wound. Hopefully the trauma would be worth it. I read the manga and I remember it takes a long time for the sixth level to get going (and by then I dropped off because there was no new chapters).

Also rate me late, but I just realized the plot is Roadside Picnic meeting Etrian Odyssey. A whole society living of extracting unknown shit left by god knows what with mutants and bizarre world effects.

As someone who's finished Detroit become human and even got the platinum. I'm actually really excited about this news. IMO I think the game is very underrated and unique. An anime based off the manga spin off would also be really cool. I'm glad to see a quantic dream franchise not be forgotten unlike Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Shits . And the main girl is a cute idol android? Yep, I'm interested. I'm not really into manga since Naruto and Steel Ball Run are the only ones I finished. But this definitely captures my interest.

Zatch Bell looking right fucking dapper in his new kingly outfit

Seeing those two beat the hell out of Waig and make him look like a retard was a delight. Nice title drop too. I really wish we could get more than one sub-thirty page chapter a month but I know Raiku's health isn't great.

Saitama turning back time like Superman felt like a cop-out but I'm still very happy with this arc overall. Once it's good and finished I think I'm finally gonna read the rest of the webcomic cause holy shit this arc took forever and I'm finally getting impatient.

Stories about adventuring through bizarre dark fantasy settings are right up my alley and cool shit like this makes me want to watch/read it but then all the rape and body horror I hear about scares me away.

To my understanding, the webcomic deviates from the manga quite a bit.
