Lol the names in this make it sound like both a Yang political meme and Pippa Pipkin meme.

I have been disappointed with the manga as of recently. Not adapting the webcomic very well, way too focused on the fighting, spacevengers, blast/god (blast should never have even been shown fighting), "rage mode" saitama which also should never happen
They're taking a big risk. I'm hold off until the arc actually ends to see whether or not it ultimately works but the fact that they already backpedaled on one story point is not encouraging. At this point either they break off from the webcomic in the biggest way possible or they do some absurd borderline retcon to bring Genos back. The former is risky but could work, The latter is almost guaranteed to feel at least a bit cheap no matter how well they manage to pull it off.

Could always just be a backup of his memory but not fully up to date with what the original went through.

If his actual biological brain is smashed in as it appears then you're still talking a major change they're going to have to smooth over somehow. Demon Cyborg arguably ceases to be a cyborg now that he has no remaining vestiges of his biological body. I'm just not sure how well going full Ghost in The Shell would work in One Punch Man. Then again, I really can't see the alternative of One Punch Man without Genos, who arguably provides the series' strongest human element, working at all.

I think the only way this kind of divergence can work is if the ultimate plan is to just end the manga after this arc.

Against better judgement, I watched and finished the second season of Kyoukai Senki and it was exactly what I expected.

Yet more of a complete mess of ideas, some of them cool some of them shit that's meshed with the same awful pacing (including a filler episode, although it's a little more meaningful than the one in S1). The writers still seem like they have no idea what they're doing because there was never any direction as to what this show was supposed to be (cheesy fujo bait with cutesy AI, a Code Geass knockoff, intelligent and realistic. Protagonist Amou looks like fucking Duo in Gundam Wing with the black outfit he wears (as if the character design couldn't get worse). It's also really amusing to see a show in this day and age treat the not!Russians positively in Current Year but then again it also treats the not!Chinese positively even though the previous season suggested they're the most evil of factions since they're full of corruption and human trafficking.

But I was just there for some really cool mecha fight scenes that look vaguely realistic like the first season of Code Geass and that is exactly what I got since this show fucking rules when it comes to fight scenes and mecha design. Bonus points for the second season OP being a nice atmospheric and catchy J-pop song.

I am glad that at least the villain Brad Watt didn't end up a total clone of Graham Aker from Gundam 00 like he was in the first season. I'm not sure if the character development and motives the writers tried to give him was better or worse than what the Gundam 00 writers did with Graham since this show was all over the place and Graham in 00 S2 is just beyond dumb it probably doesn't matter.

The ending isn't worth noting because it's exactly what you'd expect, some junk full of holes that leaves open a sequel that will never happen which admittedly makes me sad since I'll sit through this show's abject nonsense for cool fight scenes. I'll praise the show for at least trying to channel the classic anti-American Japanese nationalist mecha anime of yore like Gasaraki, Dunbine, etc. but the writing is so all over the place it totally fails at that.

Mahou Shoujo Site, which I've never itself seen or read, but I heard & read about it being garbage.
Mahou Shoujo Site at least gave us that crying girl meme. I caught the anime and it was enjoyable in the same way an exploitation film can be. How bad was Magical Girl Apocalypse? All I remember about that series is the cover art with creepy looking girls that have no eyes.

The final arc was a mess. It's like the author didn't give a shit anymore at the end.
