Nisekoi is still one of my favorite comedies from the last decade, though contrary to popular belief, it’s not because of Chitoge x Raku, Onodera x Raku or Raku’s injury compilations over things that were either out of his control or being a part of a turf war with his future waifu.

Instead, the reason I liked this and stuck with it, was because of these two:

Until someone can tell me otherwise, I’m just glad he was not just the best character, but somehow she started to see reason.

That's what always disgusts me about the series. They're so fickle. One moment, Naruto is public enemy number one, and all of a sudden, the lot of them want to go down and suck his dick. How could anyone with a straight head ever want the approval and affection of people like that?

Kishimoto's hard-on for his brother Sasuke isn't helping either. Nobody in the village hates his guts. Hell, they probably love him more than Naruto because he's "the Uchiha". Oh, but his clan was distrusted by the villagers back then. Which is it Hackmoto? Nobody really gives a shit about your "story" but how you get your characters to kill each other. :story:

Honestly I wish that the show continued, but in a way where it stays an episodic comedy since it was more fun without focusing on some overarching storyline.

Though if you take out the post credits scene, it creates a good jumping off point.

But it's thankfully not being raped as an IP unlike Fooly Cooly which will have a total of four forgettable seasons that no one wanted but coomers.

It wouldn't be difficult to continue. Either pretend the ending didn't happen or resolve the plot it set up as quickly as possible. A comedy like Panty and Stocking should be able to get away with that.

Yeah it wouldn't, honestly the only issue though is that I doubt most of the original creative team is still there and nu-gainax is really soulless.

On one hand, I’m a bit mixed.

I would have loved to have seen what a Raku x Tsugumi ship would have looked like, but on the other hand, I can kind of understand why she’s rather hesitant to get in a relationship with another man.

Plus, the final moments of the manga where Claude was essentially shocked to find out that Tsugumi was a woman had some of the best facial expressions I’ve seen in years, especially for a manga that ended more than a few years ago.
 
Read through the Kamen Rider manga recently and it was a pretty good time, they randomly published a hardcover in english for the 50th anniversary so I picked it up. Shows its age but there is still some really good art in there, especially the full page illustrations and the spreads. Two unexpected highlights were Hongo fucking dying and being turned into a brain computer, and him blowing up some guys head with a gun. The last bits of the story with Ichimonji were also pretty goofy because its mostly him just fucking up at the finish line, and then it ends.
