Would also recommend checking out the movie Memories of Nobody which I remember being fairly good if bittersweet, isn't canon (I think) so you can watch it once you get passed Soul Society just to know all the characters.
Kubo apparently confirmed not too long ago that it is canon, along with Fade to Black.

Re: the question, the end of the Hueco Mundo arc isn’t a bad place to stop.

Finished Jormungand last night. I enjoyed the series, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed by the ending.

I was hoping for more to come from the conflict between Jonah and Koko in the last few episodes. The fact that he runs away for 2 years and then just comes back and agrees with everything she wants felt anticlimactic. I was hoping for her to be more affected by it, or for him to do something really drastic like forcing the crew to kill him since she seemed so attached to him.

It's been building how much she cares for him throughout the entire series and she goes through this whole spiel about how he's the only one she loves, and then she just doesn't care that he basically betrays her because it was "in her plans". Given her reaction to R turning out to be a spy I wanted more of a reaction from her. I was almost kind of hoping that she would become the villain at the end honestly.

Up to Soul Society. The Arrancar arc isn't very good in my opinion and everything that comes afterwards is drastically worse, maybe not so much at first. If Bleach had ended at SS it would've easily been a 8/10 manga.
I give the Arrancar arc some slack because I enjoyed the intro of characters like Grimmjow and Ulquiorra, along with Aizen being a meme, also the child in me really enjoyed the full hollow Ichigo transformation though I enjoyed whenever Hollow Ichigo showed up since he was way underused in my opinion.

The "anime" part is beginning at 0:30

Gotta say it took me by surprise.

Started the Komi-san anime today based on all the recommendations.

Pretty comfy so far.

Is Stone Ocean good? The 'Netflix' symbol appearing on a anime usually makes me instantly nope away but its JoJo so I'm conflicted
It's good, it's still the same team behind it.

Netflix literally has no actual involvement in their shows beyond distribution. It's just that Netflix has no quality control into what studios they distribute from which is why there is so much shit on there.

Alright so. Im getting into bleach a little bit, and im wondering when the best time to stop anime and manga wise is. Before everything goes to filler and writing arc hell.
Depends on how invested you become in the characters. If you don't really care then stop at the SS arc. If you're invested at that point definitely go through to the end of the Arrancar arc. Personally I think the Lost Agent arc is worth it for the character development, but it's not a good stopping point. The reason people will tell you that the final arc sucks is because it got rushed due to health issues, so the pacing is off and it gets wrapped up far too quickly.

Also, the anime does change up scenes a fair bit, might be worth checking out the manga as well for context.

Isn't a new season of Bleach coming out next year? I dropped it after the arrancar arc, but would it be worth watching? There's also the hell sequel.

Finally got around to watching 86 and man i love it.
Althought it kinda starts slow it gets really good in the second part.
Also i love how Ersnt came off and someone with an ulterior motive but in the end he's just someone sticking to his ideals willing to sacrifice his own country should it go astray from its purpose

Use this to skip all the filler if you choose to go past the Soul Society arc. I heard the last arc in the anime is much better in the manga but I also recommend that if you really like any scene in the anime then you should reread it in manga form since Kubo's art is really fucking good and adds a lot.
I can't really agree to that completely, but compared to say, the final meme arc, the Arrancar arc is a masterpiece.
I thought the final arc was supposed to be good? I heard it had a lot of Kenpachi who I think is the best character by far so I was actually excited for the new anime.

I remember that anime, really fun start but yeah the ending kind of just fell flat. The entire thing was building up a dynamic and conflict between Koko and Jonah but it ends in such a weak fashion. Great soundtrack though.

Finished chainsaw man a few days ago, that was really good actually.
Personally, I don't understand why people said the ending shit the bed? Or something like that? I really liked how it wrapped up?
But am I alone in thinking some stuff went a bit too fast and it was hard to get attached to some characters? I'll probably reread it but it kinda just felt like a speed run at points.

Also I need Aki in a maga hat, if ya know, ya know.

I agree that some parts flew by way too fast. There were many times where I didn’t quite get the full emotional impact because it immediately just went onto the next scene. I hope the anime tweaks the pacing a bit since it‘s really my only complaint with the story.

Personally I haven’t heard anyone complain about the ending, so you know why specifically they think it shit the bed?

Yea it took me a few minutes to attach to some of the characters cause it went way too fast. It looks like we might get some more Himeno screen time from the trailer, but I can say she was one of the characters who zipped a bit too fast esp since she's supposed to be one of the ones with a lasting impact later on a certain someone.

I feel like when I saw people complain it was mostly Makima simps maybe? Or this was when the manga first ended before the author was like "Oh yea btw part 2 is coming" mixed with the fast pacing and the killing off so many people and we end it like that so I'll take my late clocks if anything.
I liked the ending as well and wasn't expecting cannibalism of all things like holy shit. I wonder if we'll see anyone else in hell tbh, but I still thought it was good.

In Bleach I swapped to the manga after Soul Society arc, but I thought it was tolerable enough until they wrap up the Ichigo/Aizen fight. Then they basically have to pull out a bunch of bullshit to keep the story going past the natural conclusion.

I did read the first 9 volumes of Bleach and after I heard someone tell me it would only get worse I dropped.

The reason was that those 9 first volume were a bunch of nothing. Still the art was pretty cool

One thing I noticed when watching it is Netflix still changes the name to avoid copyright, which after 5 parts I'm used to by now, but I was still hoping it was CR just having no money to try and get the rights.
