Planning on going back into bleach for the first time in like 9-10 years.

Any tips or way to do it properly? I'm debatin goin thru the manga or the anime or both. I remember I liked the filler arc with the swords coming alive. Might rewatch it for funsies?
I remember like bits n pieces from toonami as a kid but if there's a DEFINITE way to watch bleach lmk i'd be very curious.

Also, Shuhei and Gin are best boys I said what I said.

I watched MandaloreGaming's Anonymous Agony review and it reminded me all the wannabe western anime voice actors during the golden era of Newgrounds, I remember most of them being actually quite decent and it's probably a shame that the few that did make it as VA's won't be as well known due to how easy it is to get japanese dub version of shows (though most of them are probably lolcows).

Watching don't toy with me miss nagatoro when you have social anxiety is painful. How do you people watch this shit it makes me want to commit no longer life
I dropped it after episode one since watching some nerdy kid get bullied was just an uncomfortable and joyless experience.
I don't know if the people who like this show have a humiliation fetish or something but I don't care if it gets better, I'm pretty soured by a main love interest who met the protagonist by bullying them and if I wanted a dominant waifu manga then I'd just read that one about the dude with a demon oneesama or something, I think I have some physical copies of that cause they looked appealing to me but I never actually sat down to read them.
Anyway, If it were up to me then this comic would be the canon 2nd chapter and the end of the series.

Speaking of Korean stuff and anime/manga, has anyone read the Old Boy manga?
The only thing I know about it is unlike the Korean movie there is no incest, which is surprising for Japan. But aside from that I haven't seen too many people talk about it.
I didn't even know Old Boy had a manga. I knew it had that terrible American adaption...

I'll have to check out the manga. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Colorful (1999)

If you ever wanted to know what the Japanese version of [adult swim] would be like, then this anime is perfect. I just watched the first three episodes of incidents where guys are trying their damndest to figure out new ways to see girls‘ underwear, and I can’t lie and say that I’m not entertained seeing people like that then get humiliated in ways where you wouldn’t even think it would be possible.

That and the theme song is great, too:

Best part is the singer of the theme song is Yuko Miyamura, anta baka.

Like those extra canonical Evangelion games, the series School Rumble has a few:

Anyone who knows Japanese that can translate this story? The impression I’m getting is that they’re in a beach and there’s some haunted house and usual antics.

The last arc of the manga is hot garbage so you might wanna skip it altogether. The anime ends on a satisfying enough note. Depends on if you want to just watch it or read it.

Just read the manga. It's faster than sitting through 20 minutes of characters standing still and monologuing at each other over some admittedly good soundtracks. Kubo's original paneling and designs are better in my opinion.

Call it a transition period. The author's original work, on which the manga is based on, was hardcore humiliation porn. Early chapters resemble that, but the more it goes on the more it mellows out. It's still a 5/10 at best.

Because you don't read it for the NTR, you doofus. The main appeal is seeing the MC get his shit together. On the same note I would recomend Sundome.
The MC gets bullied into stopping jerking off 3 times per day; joins a gym; gets a job and becomes an MD by the last chapter.
If what Nagatoro does to a guy is what passes for bullying nowadays then please:

Early and often

Just like you don't watch cock and ball torture for the cock and ball torture, the main appeal is seeing the dude come out stronger than before.
It doesn't matter that 99% of other watchers fetishize it and get off to the abuse because I am based and watch it for a better reason.

The Giant Robo OVA is fucking awesome and I can't believe that I've slept on it for so long. I didn't know it was possible for anime to be literally 95% sakuga for 7 hours.

Imagine comparing flirting to cock and ball torture. Please don't watch any romcom from the 90's, you might want to jump off a bridge.

I tried reading Nagatoro a while ago because I was in the mood for toxic relationships and honestly, I dropped it when it turned out not to be the case. I only happened to pick it up later when I felt like reading a romcom.
Anybody expecting actual toxicity will be pretty disappointed.
