I've brought it up before but if you want to talk about series on hiatus there is no physical way Iwaaki can ever finish Historie at this rate.
Dude is in his 60s and while he isn't on hiatus again, he is currently plotting along with about a dozen pages every two months. And he'll probably take another one to fix his chicken scratch art once he has enough pages for the volume release like always.
I'm gonna say he might have another 10-15 years before he has to retire, and unless he gets someone to help with the art, that might be 3-4 volumes at best if he doesn't take anymore hiatuses. So that will probably mean ending the series at a wired place, or skipping a whole lot of events to give Eumenes story some kind of closer.

I'm going through Made In Abyss right and people weren't kidding about the weird stuff. lead loli is topless a lot. I give it ten chapters before she gives up on wearing a shirt altogether.

>go back to look for old scans of a manga
>only existing versions online are in turkish

I know leaving stuff out for awhile can attract roaches but jeez....

Oh boy you're in for a ride.

In that manga you really don't wanna be the tank of the group.

Ruler inside ass is just the starting point.

Around 90% of this week's episode of mushoten was in demon-god language. Even the nips had to watch the episode with subs. How can studio bind be so unfathomably based?

Yeah the mangaka is a freak and a half. It's still really good for what it is though and I'm looking forward to him making another chapter in 25 years.

I don't even think TNG or DS9 did something like that with any of their alien languages.

I'm convinced that the producer and writer both belong to the part of society made up mostly by suspiciously wealthy furries

If anyone remembers Dr. Stone, can you tell me what exactly was the villain's deal (the "world strongest man")? I remember it was retarded point about old people screwing away the youth.
It was basically wanting a purer world now that society has reverted back to nature to prevent corruption. Tsukasa is essentially an extreme marxist and his ideology is something that is acknowledged as retarded within the series.

DOMINION/NEW DOMINION TANK POLICE

In the far future, Earth is a polluted hell with massive cities and a crime problem to match. Keeping the peace is the Tank police that literally use tanks as both their vehciles and main weapons with a nearly insane brutal dedication to their job. Leona Ozaki, joins them as the first female member, and must find a way to work with the others in her own style. That's something that has to be settled soon considering that the notorious Cat Girls and their dumb male partner are planning crimes that require Leon's skill to stop.

I think I just found what’s next on my new watch list. Also, the art was fantastic for this one if I recall:

I actually watched the first set of OVAs a month back, it was pretty good! I really liked the design of the tech and cityscapes in particular. Still have yet to watch the New Dominion OVAs, but I have no doubt I'll enjoy them.

The Sci-Fi channel aired this during their Saturday Anime showcase. I remember how awkward it was to see the Puma sisters striptease and my mom asking me what the hell I was watching. This and New Dominion Tank police definitely need a re-release as well as the manga.

The anime Ex-Arms was so bad it got the manga sequel axed lmao. Is anyone bothering to watch it?
Everyone is treating this show as if was "The Room" in anime form. They could possibly fix it for the blu-ray release, but I doubt it. It'll join the shitty CG anime ranks of Abunai Sisters, Gdgd Fairies, Popee the Performer and Berserk 2016.

Sadly this is probably the closest we'll ever get to a 20th Century Boys anime.
He knows that showing the second part to a wide audience the probability of he getting punch in the face is a lot higher. Holy shit that was bad and I still mad for reading it.

Another passing has rocked the industry today, with news that character designer and animator Minako Shiba is no longer with us. The official Twitter accounts for P.A. Works and Studio Pierrot shared the news that Minako Shiba passed away at the age of 50.

Among Shiba’s many contributions to anime were as chief animation director and character designer for series such as Black Butler, Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee, Hikaru no Go, Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle: Rhyme Anima, and many more.

This one hurts, since I remembered when I was younger I used to love reading the manga version of Hikari No Go, but I also remembered that our local neighborhood library used to have old copies of Hikari No Go (even though they sometimes skipped seasons).

I was also planning to watch Black Butler since a few years back, I remembered one of the manga sites I used to lurk on had it on their front page and one of the posters said that the anime version slightly deviates from the manga.

Long story short, not too many people know that much about the character designers who are responsible for underrated anime like the ones mentioned. I’m just disappointed that I’m finding out about this now. :(
