Rest in peace, Akira Toriyama. Every time I see a Honda Civic with shitty mods, a shitty paint job, and a Goku sticker on the bumper and/or Goku action figures on the dash, I'll remember you.

Well fuck it, I've been on the fence for awhile but I'll think I sit down and read all of dragon ball for the first time. Might even give dr. slump a try
 
Rest in peace Akira Toriyama, I hope that his soul finds peace and that in life he was aware of how much his worked shaped the lifes and futures of many fans, and many more to come.
 
On one hand this a huge fucking bummer. On the other, at least he was very hands-off his story already. So, with any luck, it will go the way of Berserk and there's enough material that his team can keep the story going to the closest ending it could have to the intended one.
 
Pouring a big one out for Toriyama. I'd never be who I am today without experiencing Dragon Ball Z (Kai) for the first time on Nicktoons growing up.
